Not holding the seal for install
Ordered this tool to work on our 1.9L TDI VW to prepare for the seal. Of course the bolts that hold the seal, three of them on the outer ring prior to installing the seal to the crankshaft were to short by 1/4" of an inch. The tool will not bolt up to the seal that needs to be installed. Tried two different seals to make sure and both were the same, the tool is at fault. They are machined bolts to size should have been longer. Unable to use, other than that the tool looks and feels sturdy.
