I have a PS5 Pro, Switch 2 and an Xbox Series X hooked up to my Samsung Q80T (2020 edition with only one HDMI 2.1 in) tv. ALLM and VRR do work through this box at 4k resolution and at 120HZ. I've seen some review stating otherwise and can tell you with confidence it is the poor cables they are using. Your standard 8k HDMI cable will have a rough time getting all the bells and whistles that new consoles can throw at them without issues. Now add a switch box in the stream and cheaper cables will crumble under the stress. You will absolutely have to upgrade your cables if you want to use this box, and most likely any 8k switch box made before 2024, to run flawlessly. I use Audio Quest Pearl cables. They're expensive but worth it. 2. Sound quality is not degraded by this box. I run my game systems and a PC through this box to my tv and out through eARC to an atmos receiver. I get 7.1 from every source. I would highly recommend this box for anyone with more HDMI 2.1 devices than you have inputs for in your tv.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for Series X

I recently purchased a new monitor that only had one hdmi port, so I needed an hdmi switch for my series x and other devices. The issue was that the cheaper passive switches on the market couldn’t handle the series x resolution. I decided to try this product out. Since this ugreen switcher is actively powered, the connection was completely stable with no flickering/blackouts. It was capable of running 4k resolution with no issues. It could even handle my older consoles like my Wii. Unlike other switches that I have tried, this one does not automatically switch, you must either manually press the button or use the remote; both methods have an effective response time. Overall this device is great for 4k gaming and offers a very convenient design.
