Review: Happy with it! - I'm very happy with it. It doesn't get too hot. It feels sturdy and stable. It pops the popcorn well. It does leave unpopped kernals like most do but not so much as to be an issue. I usually repop them. It doesn't kick out all the kernals during popping which I appreciate. Although I've learned the trick of using a large paper bag under the spout to keep popcorn from flying all over. Happy!
Review: Save you dollars; this machine doesn't do the job - Well... this is falsely promoted. First off: you have to "heat up" the popper for 3 minutes BEFORE putting in any kernels. Then you turn it off. Only then can you put in 1/4 cup of kernels, which will take several minutes to pop. Then, once you hear only 1 or 2 kernels popping per second, you turn it OFF. THEN before you can make another batch, you have to wait 10 minutes to prevent the unit from overheating. So for one batch: 3 minutes, plus 3 minutes, plus 10 minutes. 16 minutes per batch. Not good, unless you're eating alone. And who eats popcorn alone? (If you do, can't say I fault you... I love popcorn. But generally, I eat popcorn with groups.) Then there is the amount: according to the verbiage, the popper is makes up to 16 cups -- implying to me and probably you that each batch can be up to 16 cups. But: you can only put in 1/4 cup of kernels per batch. I've been making and eating popcorn for a long time. I grew up in the state that grew more popcorn than any other state. I'm very happy with it. It doesn't get too hot. It feels sturdy and stable. It pops the popcorn well. It does leave unpopped kernals like most do but not so much as to be an issue. I usually repop them. It doesn't kick out all the kernals during popping which I appreciate. Although I've learned the trick of using a large paper bag under the spout to keep popcorn from flying all over. Happy!

Well... this is falsely promoted. First off: you have to "heat up" the popper for 3 minutes BEFORE putting in any kernels. Then you turn it off. Only then can you put in 1/4 cup of kernels, which will take several minutes to pop. Then, once you hear only 1 or 2 kernels popping per second, you turn it OFF. THEN before you can make another batch, you have to wait 10 minutes to prevent the unit from overheating. So for one batch: 3 minutes, plus 3 minutes, plus 10 minutes. 16 minutes per batch. Reservoir is shallow so stand back. Hot unpopped kernels are thrown out! One got caught in my clothing and caused a painful second degree burn!!!
