This is an excellent device to use on your RV to track water usage and when flushing your tanks. The auto shut off feature is great, it is easy to use, and it is well made. The brass fittings do make a difference in quality. The is a great device.

Seems very solid and well built, better than expected. Larger than expected, think tennis ball, but small enough to keep on a boat or RV. Accuracy stated at +-5%, higher than I prefer, but in this price range that's typical. Mine tested to be less than 2% high at 3 gal/min. Wish it had a calibration feature in the software to adjust accuracy, but knowing my unit is within 1 gal at 50 gals measured is useful. Display rotating 180* is easy, so is measuring flow in both directions and conveniently labeled. 3 modes are selectable, Last mode resets itself at 30 secs if water stops, Total 1 and 2 are reset manually. Can't assess durability yet, but chose brass inlet/outlet to prevent damage to threads from periodic use. Instructions are also better than most, but still a few translation errors that cloud intent. Powers off automatically and takes a button cell CR2032. Probably 5 stars if it hold up, despite noted minor shortcomings.

I have 4 of these things in my 4 raised bed gardens , had 2 and worked really well so I got 2 more now I have one for each bed. You can defiantly save a lot of water and know how much your watering with these water meters. You can go to the GPM screen and look at the flow how many gals. you want to water and how large a area for a give amount of time. If you want 1" of water so if your area is 10' x 25' = 250 sq. ft. . It take .623 gal. to equal 1" of water per sq. ft.. So you take 250 x .623 = 155.75 min / 60 = 2.60 hrs. to get 1" of water on that size of area., and it tells you how many gals. you put out. I have regulators on so I can adjust the flow, If you want to have a more soaking watering you can dial back your pressure but increase your time and you can get the same amount of water. The rain don't hurt them at all there on my gardens and so far no water got inside of the unit, No leaking fittings so far they fell like a good meter, I like that you can flip the screen over so you can read it. The reverse flow would be handy to do which I didn't need to but I can see where ti would come in handy.

Works great! I used it to monitor the amount of water going into my fresh water tank of my travel trailer. Seemed to be accurate. Also will measure your flow rate.

This device is so handy when you need to track what volume of water you're pushing into an RV tank (our use case). We use it to ensure that we've got 100% full, fresh tanks without worrying about overfilling. We also use it during the black tank flush to ensure we've added enough water for a thorough cleaning. Our black tank is 36 gallons, and we'll flush with about 2 or 3 10-gallon flushes when we're packing up. We also use it to measure another 5-6 gallons before closing the valve, ensuring that we've got a good amount of water in the black tank for our next trip. That's enough water to splash-clean the tank while driving, and when we arrive at our next site, we'll usually dump it before adding another 5-6 gallons and some enzyme cleaner to the tank.

I haven't had it long or used it much, but it seems to work as described so far.
