Amazing quality product. Used for all my tattoos
I will never ever doubt this cream. I have been using it for 10+ years. It is instantly working and long lasting. It’s not messy and it’s gotten me through, injections, tattoos, and some body aches. It’s such a versatile product and a little goes a long way

Works Great
I had my knee tattooed and this helped a ton. You have to apply it THICK and then wrap the area in plastic wrap for 60 -90 minutes. You will be able to feel where you didn’t apply a thick enough layer

Highly recommend would not of made through with out it
Have to give this a 5 star if u r gonna do large tattoo buy 2 tubes. Had awful tattoo on the middle of back & did not get done over for the longest time because of the pain experienced why getting the first tattoo however friend suggested this too me and it worked was able to get my outline done and for sure buying more for the rest of the tattoo to be finished. Was able to relax and stay more still for my artist too & it works but do need extra numbing cream after about a hour.

Not too bad
I bought this to use for a tattoo in a particularly painful spot, but ended up not needing it for that. Instead, I used it for a splinter I'd gotten on the bottom of my foot that was too painful to go near.4 stars, but only because I didn't use it as the instructions said, so I can verify full validly of the product. When I used it on the bottom of my foot, I applied a generous amount of the cream and let it sit for 10 minutes. The splinter hurt so bad to touch or go near that I was in tears (I have a sleeve of tattoos and have never cried from that pain! This was excruciating). I knew it had to come out, and remembered I had this, so I put it on and waited. It didn't completely numb the area, but it did numb it enough that getting out the splinter was tolerable. I got it out quickly and didn't notice any tingling or other odd sensations on my foot after.Next time I get a tattoo in a bad spot, I'm going to try this as intended and I'll update this review as it changes. I've only ever had one tattoo that was particularly bad, but man, I don't want to go through that again if I don't have to - this would be great if it works as it says!

Great for pre-tattoo prep
I have muscle spasms on the regular, and using this during my tattoo sessions has really helped lower them greatly. I did a patch test as my skin is sensitive and no negative reaction. Before any tattoo I get, I put a generous layer over the designated spot, cover it with Saran Wrap, and let it absorb 3 hours prior to the appointment. Felt NOTHING when I got my sternum tattoo. It does go away after an hour or so during the session; but makes a huge difference for myself and the tattoo artist to ensure I have no random spasms, helps them apply without issue, and can make the experience much better.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Product DID NOT work well.
So I purchased this product because of the large amount of reviews that gave it 5 stars. I am perplexed as to how this product was rated more than 1 star by anyone. It DOES NOT WORK WELL. I purchased the product to assist in making getting my first tattoo close to pain free. For my first tat, it’s a large one. Despite putting the product on and using the saran wrap and waiting 50 minutes, then also reapplying it a second time for 40 minutes to ensure that it would take. When the artist began the tattoo, I felt the pressure of the needle and the vibrations but not much pain. But I thought that must be normal so I didn’t think anything of it. However, after about 20 minutes, the product wore off and I began to feel the needle and the puncturing of my skin. The pain level was about a 6 out of 10 for most of the tattoo. It was about 7 for the part of the tattoo that extends to the middle of my back. So, the pain was mostly moderate. However, this product is supposed to numb you for 4 hours according to the box. Complete lie. It somewhat numbs (not fully) you for about 20-25 minutes and then you are going to feel the needle. Overall, the product’s performance was substandard. A better numbing cream is tattoo Numbing cream co and it’s cheaper in price. Dr. Numb failed to provide the protection against pain that it was supposed to.

Turn to other brands because the price
The packaging is great, and it seems like this is the only one in the market with a 4.5-star rating, so I decided to give it a try even though it's much pricier. Honestly, the results are just okay. I don't really notice much difference compared to other brands with lidocaine as the main ingredient. I think the ratio of lidocaine is probably the same across the board, so I’d give it 4 stars. But considering the higher price, I’d rate it 3 stars instead. Thanks!

Didn’t feel a thing
I’ve tried a few numbing creams, and this is the absolute best I’ve noticed that putting it on hrs before your tattoo like three and wrapping it you won’t feel nothing ..
