I ordered these for my 86 year old mother to help with her arthritis pain in her thumb. She already had a couple of thumb splints with velcro straps that she used sometimes but she didn’t like wearing them as they were too bulky and complicated to get on with only one hand to tighten and secure the straps. They were also very rigid and when wearing them she couldn’t use her hand well enough to pick things up or hold things effectively. When we received these I was doubtful as they are so sheer and lightweight. It didn’t seem like they would offer much support or stability but my doubts were unwarranted. Mom LOVES them! She can wear them all day and spend hours playing her games on her iPad with her stylus without any pain. They are very thin and form fitting with no bulky straps. They are very easy for her to slip on and off with only one hand. The pink/beige color blends well with her skin tone and doesn’t stand out. She isn’t self conscious about wearing them in public as they are barely noticeable. The rigid thumb support inside them is still flexible enough to allow her to pick things up, write and use the stylus for gaming on her iPad while still restricting her thumb movement enough to prevent her pain. She is VERY happy with these thumb braces and I am very happy see her using her hands pain free.

Very tight , difficult and painful to get on . Thumb hole ripped in second day of wearing . Very soft material though

I love it because it is comfortable, but I am disappointed that the metal support is on the back of my thumb instead of the front, where the problem is. Other than that, the material adjusts to your skin, is very soft, and you forget you have it on.

Very comfortable, specially at night, not bulky and has helped a lot. Love the pink color but I got a couple others in other colors as well. No Velcro so it can sometimes be a bit hard to put on. But looks like great quality.

It is difficult to get on the first time, but once it's on, it feels good and gives good support gently. It's very lightweight. I expect I will be pleased; I plan to use this mostly for sewing.

Very cheaply made. Size is inaccurate. I requested a refund on the med size because it was too small. Sent it back and instead of a refund, they sent me a small sized brace . Now I will be sending this back but I bet I don't see the refund.

I have small hands and wrists so the small size works very well for me. It is the most comfortable wrist/thumb brace I have ever worn. However, I can understand other people's complaints. Clearly, everyone has different needs in terms of support. If you need more than light support, this is not the brace for you.I was specifically looking for something lightweight that could get wet and dry quickly. I am being careful putting it on and taking it off because it is flimsy. I haven't torn it yet but I'm sure the day will come but, for me, that is okay. I need long term support so I will probably sign up to have this auto-shipped on a regular basis. I do think it is a bit pricey for what you get but this is exactly what I was looking for and I love it.

Pretty bummed about this purchase. It actually worked and relieved some wrist pain and the thumb stabilizer was nice. I’ve only had it for a few days, wearing it only intermittently and the threading has already come undone so that it isn’t wearable anymore which is clearly a quality issue
