We have young grandchildren and we live in a wooded area which has coyotes and, we recently found out, mountain lions. We needed a way for our grandchildren to call for help or scare away a threat. They carry these on their arms and go with adults but added safety is a plus. These are also given out to other people who may be walking alone in our woods.

I gave these to a group of very young children at a school I spoke to. They loved them, but I did get some strange looks from the teachers as the children played with the whistles. Hopefully, as children do, the whistles will stop working after a while, but the bracelets will still be fun to play with. Future note to self. When buying these for children, get all one color because I can't give every kid the color they want.

Whistle part great. All worked. Problem was with band. Stretched out and stayed stretched out. Most of the kids put around neck because became to big for wrist, way to easily.

These were great at our wedding in the park. No mess and no clean up of the traditional wedding post festivities. Everyone took theirs home with them.

So happy to find these as they are for family and friends who live in "Tornado Alley". I've had one for years and is so convenient to loop onto my wrist. In case of disaster while being trapped in rubble, a whistle is heard over cries for help and uses little energy.

Cute and and much bigger than expected. Great party favors.
