3mtr Screed Straight Edge Heavy Duty Aluminium

I was initially a little concerned from the seller's photo of the product that the straight edge may be light duty but was delighted to say that it was far from it. It arrived well wrapped and protected and has well fitting plastic insert ends. This product is perfect for laying screeds. 5 stars!

Not cheap for a single straight edge but engineered to a good standard. If you need a solid straight edge that will last for years then you won't go wrong. Maybe overkill for a DIY project given the price but if you need it you need it.

This was used to find low areas of a floor that I levelled using levelling compound. And then used it to encourage the compound to flow into the right areas. It's quite a chunky thing a bit heavier than I was expecting and a bit wider than others I've seen used. I suppose that's what makes it heavy duty. Overall very pleased and it arrived in good time and was well packed. Would recommend this to a friend.

Purchased to use as a screed for sharp sand / block paving . Very good screed ,light weight very strong . Done the job very well , would be great if a spirit level bubble could be integrated into it .
