The device is certainly a welcome addition in my recovery arsenal. Battery life most of the time isn’t something you would be particularly worried about as you likely won’t be spending up to 4 hours in the units. Red Light Therapy is a useful modality to utilize, this product does help provide a form of that in arguably the most important function of many athletes, their legs. The vibration is also a useful feature that can help with breaking up the fascia. The units have some weight but shouldn’t be an issue if you are fit enough to pick up heavy objects. There is some general relief from the flushing as it does help move blood around. The movement of blood is what enables improved recovery as blood carries the nutrients that are needed to repair muscles and get them ready for the next challenge. It is durable enough to allow me to stand on the units without them activating and not have problems (I’m around 235lbs). I don’t recommend using the units standing up, so don’t try that. Aside from that, I’m coming from using the Normatec line, I think the Normatec Boots have longer flush periods, however the JetBoots achieve a similar result while cycling through the chambers faster. If you have the money, and take your recovery seriously as an athlete, or someone who wants to try and get the most from their body, I do recommend this product. You won’t go wrong with Normatec Boots or JetBoots, but, adding on the extra benefits of vibration and red light is a duo I certainly would rather have than have not, because I can. My partner also likes the boots and has used them multiple times, it has put her to sleep a few times because of the way they feel.

These Therabody RecoveryAir Prime boots are amazing! As a runner, I’m always on the lookout for products that will help with recovery after a tough workout. I popped these boots on after my last few workouts and the sequential compression feels great – kind of like a mini squeezy massage. My legs subjectively felt fresher the next day for my workout (whether that’s a true effect or my imagination, I don’t know – but I’ll take it!). One thing I loved about this particular product was it was super simple to use right out of the box. When you open the box, the boots are in there and the cord part is already hooked up to them. The pump is separate in the box, and you just turn it on. Place your legs in the boots, insert the cords from the boots into the pump, and you’re ready to roll. The pump itself is a lot quieter than I expected – there’s a light humming noise, but we could keep it on while watching TV without being bothered. You can set the product to work in different timed cycles, 20/40/60 min, which was nice to just kind of set and forget while you were relaxing in it. The only issue I noticed is as a curvier female runner, I have thick thighs and smaller feet/ankles – so sometimes I felt slightly less compression on the foot part of the boot compared to the thigh part. But honestly, not enough of a difference that it really mattered to me. Overall, really love these and am glad I got a pair.

After turning in for the first time got an error. Wanted to love it but extremely disappointed. .

I bought these as an HSA purchase because I needed to spend the money before I lost it. My son and I both use this. I did buy it based on his size, not mine so I do have to adjust it, but it works great and definitely helps with my nerve pain in my legs when it is really bad. I love this thing and probably use it more than my son does, but it was the best impulse buy I have EVER bought!

Did a bunch of research and was skeptical at first. Also bought a cheap similar product which ended up with a permanent home for my closet. Once I fired these babies up on the day after leg day, level 50. Ok. Once you have the courage to go up to level 100 and they kick in on full blast they are the best things ever. Since I got them i've been using them every day. Feels a little like space boots, but after I use them I'm back in action twice as fast as I was before. Now that i've been using them I get worried that they may break and I could only justify spending this amount of cash one time. So far, awesome and I hope they last until I die. Things I didn't realize: 1) The actual compressor unit is battery powered so you can take them on the go and you don't have to be super close to an outlet or fish an extension cord across the living room. 2) Couple different programs that you can do with various modes. Modes go from Full blast - to subtle massage. Highly recommend, super cool, closest thing to a space suit I've been able to purchase thus far.

I had never used them before, but since I acquired them I haven't stopped using them. I organized a work plan and I feel very satisfied with them.

The best thing money can buy! Iv been a normatec fan for far longer, but normatec is more on the athletic side, and the Therabody is far more aimed at the wellness aspect! Hands down the best investment one could buy into
