We have a Bestway paddling pool, last year a thin layer of slime formed on the floor of the pool and the water was slightly cloudy after only 24 hours, after 48 hours this became even more noticeable.This year I added this product to I estimate about 300 to 400 litres of tap water in the pool. The water stayed clear and no slime formed for the 5 days we used the pool.Only adults used the pool and we had no ill effects afterwards. After de-commissioning the pool the water was used on the garden. The lawn, shrubs, pot plants and hanging baskets have not suffered any ill effects either.The warnings on packet do sound alarming but I guess this refers to the 50 ml concentrated form, and once diluted in up to 1000 litres of water it's not too bad. Can't say if it works for 2 weeks as claimed, we think 5 days is long enough to use the same water.If children were going to use the pool we would use fresh tap water before each use, and add nothing.
