It works well for spreading polish.
I usde this to refinish a vinyl tile floor, it was about 600 sq ft. It worked perfectly.

Best tool for refinishing floors with polyurethane!
I have finished floors with polyurethane several times using brushes or rollers but this is 10 times faster and a much better finish! I did screw up one room because I poured it on too thick and didn't stir the oil-based poly as I went but subsequent rooms I did much better. Also, I added an LED headlamp to my floor halogen in order to improve the visibility of the finish as I am progressing through the process of pouring the polyurethane and then spreading it. This way you can see defects better when you can immediately recoat that piece before it dries.Downside: I couldn't find a way to save the pad after the last day of finishing as in between coats I just put it in a plastic bag that is well sealed. Afterwards the mineral spirits wouldn't clean it up so I just budget in a new pad for each finish that I do. Still worth the price for the improvement in quality and speed!

AWESOME EVEN FOR A BEGINNER!
Remodeling a home that has 1,000 s.f. of 50-year-old oak flooring. Sanded throughly, stained and then debated on how apply the water-based oil-modified poylurethane. My 24-yr old son applied the poly with this T-bar system while I did the edge work with a brush and kept his 18" paint tray properly filled and out of his way. Took us about 3 hrs to apply each coat. Abraded, wiped-down & prepped per poly instructions. Applied 3 coats and couldn't be happier with the results! Just remember to "land" and "take-off" from the floor surface as if the T-bar was a plane. Keep the applicator moving as you land and take-off and you won't have any problems with puddles or streaks. Don't push down on the applicator at any time, or you may get bubbles in your finish. Don't rub applicator on paint tray & don't submerge it either. Just dip it deep enough to thouroughly coat the bottom half, then TOUCH it on the paint tray ribs and hold it over the tray, rotating it if necessary to wait for any dripping to stop before applying to floor. GOOD LUCK!

Great tool
Made applying polyurethane an ease. Way better than the lambswool applicator. One thing is that this applicator works best as a one time use, unless you clean it well for the next application.

Super fast smooth coverage.
First time trying this, I got the 18" version, The floor is drying now, but the results using it were great, easy, fast coverage, it didn't drip too much either, I used a tray to load up, I know people poor and spread but I didn't want to try that.UPDATE: The finish is better than anything else I've used, it's dry, and super smooth.

The Perfect Tool for Floor Varnishing
This tool was ideal for applying varnish to my floor. The old varnish had worn off unevenly, creating waves that I suspect were due to an imperfectly level sanding job. Using the Bona Traffic with this T-bar allowed me to distribute the varnish evenly and efficiently. My only suggestion would be to use a 12 or 14-inch bar instead, given the size of the area.
