I have used it around twenty times now and the handle has held up well and still holds the blades firmly in place.My only recommendation for those considering this razor is that it does provide an extremely close shave. If you are unfamiliar with using a single-bladed safety razor, the angle and closeness of the shave may be more than you're expecting.
