Review: Very slow to close. But very stursy. - This seat is super sturdy and truly soft closing. Almost too soft. If you wait for the seat to go down on its own and you have to go number #2 real bad your best off helping it down. The other weird thing are the little plastic screws are designed to break off on purpose, I guess to make sure you don’t over tighten them. I really didn’t see a reason for that design. I was confused at first because they seemed to stick out too far. But the cryptic illustration made me believe that I wanted to break them, which I did so I guess it wasn’t as cryptic as I was thinking.
Review: Extremely sturdy and modern looking - This is the best toilet seat I have ever purchased. Heavy duty, easy to install and very modern looking with the long cover for the hinges. It’s a slow close lid and it works great so if you have small children and or toddlers this will put you at ease that the seat won’t slam on them! The color is a perfect match for my toilet. Seat does not move around at all like those plastic ones. It is a little pricier than others but it was worth it. I would highly recommend. Tip: when installing it says to remove the plate that covers the hinges and the plate just slides out (I thought it snapped and tried to remove it with a flat head screw driver).
