VEGA is still one of the best Protein powders, and not chalky. However I don't care much for their current flavors. They used to have one with the faintest of grapefruit/vanilla flavors that was a rock star. Still, good quality, decent value and taste. Vegan and easy to incorporate into shakes.

Pros: 1. cost effective on getting a lot of protein with fiber. 2. Good ratings from Consumer Reports on testing for heavy metals and other containments. It's clean and high quality. 3. Mixes easily into water. I recommend 16-20 oz per serving, I find it reduces bloating if this amount of liquid is used. 4. The taste is a coin toss. I personally prefer the chocolate over the vanilla but at the end of the day I'm drinking it for it's health benefits not flavor. It does the job and if you're on a budget you can get a lot of protein, fiber, and iron at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this product.

It’s chalky. Not unbearably, but even blending it was chalky. I used almond milk and could never get rid of the chalky texture. I got the vanilla flavor, it smelled like pumpkin but tasted like vanilla. Initially, I thought I got pumpkin spice instead of vanilla, it was intense. It’s protein powder, it did its job. I felt full after having it for a good bit, like I had a good snack. It didn’t upset my lactose intolerant stomach. I’d buy again, but I’m still hunting for a powder that isn’t chalky so it wouldn’t be my long term protein powder unless they can get rid of the chalky texture.

I love this protein powder so much! I have a lot of food sensitivities and couldn’t find a protein powder that didn’t irritate my stomach. This plant based formula is so simple and has just a few ingredients with the protein coming from peas, and it has a wonderful taste compared to other brands. It keeps me full as a snack or I pair it with my coffee in the morning as a quick breakfast. Only downside is they only have two flavors for this specific product, but with chocolate and vanilla it is very versatile.

This particular vanilla Vega protein is not good. It tastes very grainy and thick. Ive tried a brand called Levels and its way better but it is more expensive. I like smooth good tasting protein powder. This stuff isnt smooth at all. Wont buy again. Generally the more expensive proteins are way better but you have to wait till theres a sale or something to get them. I would NOT recommend this protein at all.

I’ve been trying a lot of different protein powders, and I bought this one when my budget was a bit tight. For the price, you get your money’s worth. I will say, the taste is definitely chalkier and a bit more artificially sweet than some other powders I’ve tried, and I feel like it’s prone to clumps (though most powders seem to be). Overall I’d say it’s worth it for the price point.

I chose this item because it reminded me of Pulp Fiction (Vincent Vega) but it ended up being the best tasting protein powder shake I’ve had! Dust off your Nutribullet and add 1 cup coconut milk, 3/4 cup water, 2 scoops Vega powder and 6 square ice cubes (I still fill ice trays). Its doesn’t really save any money compared to pre-made shakes, but the taste is superior so I put it on auto ship. It mixes completely and has an addictive somewhat-sweet taste.

Really enjoying this protein powder. The vanilla flavor is smooth and creamy without being overly sweet, and it mixes easily in my shaker. I like that it’s vegan and dairy-free, while still giving me 25g of protein per serving. The large tub is a good value too.

Yo feliz con esta proteína. Me agradan los sabores veganos. Sin embargo hay quienes prefieren la proteína de suero de leche. Es tema de gustos y paladares.
