Perfect tablet from children to adults!
We bought this after someone recommending it to us and we have NO regrets! We absolutely love it and it’s the perfect tablet for my son. The sizing is perfect for him to be able to play games on and learn, we can put parental controls on making it a safe environment for him. It works fantastic, quick and doesn’t freeze like an old one he use to have! Would buy again and would recommend to others.

Great kindle
The media could not be loaded. I have been a fan of the Amazon Kindles for as long as I remember and I had my last one for some years and when I see this at a great price I couldn't resist treating myself. For a change I decided to go for a different colour rather than stick with the traditional black colour and I'm really glad I did. Compared to my older kindle I noticed on this new one that the system has had a few changes and as such it took me a few minutes to get use it.I also noticed that the performance was far better than my older version it's far more responsive and the speed is a fair bit quicker especially when first turning on, there is also plenty of memory that you can expand with a memory card and the battery life is far better than the one I had but saying that my old kindle was well used.When it comes to reading the unit itself feels nice and light to hold and the screen is nice and clear and when I watched a video on Amazon prime the picture was nice and crisp and the colours showed up well.Although you don't have Google play on any of the Amazon Kindles that's not really an issue there are plenty of apps and gaming apps on the kindle store if your into games as I'm not a gamer the kindle is great for me as I do love my books and like to watch the odd movie now and then and this kindle is well and truly up to the task of what I ask of it.Overall I am really happy with my purchase I think the colour I chose is great and the overall performance is brilliant for all I want.

Slightly different set up to my last generation fire
My last 10” fire packed up after five years of constant use, this replacement has slightly different size dimensions to the old one, had to buy a new cover.It was very easy to set up and the colours on screen are more vibrant than previous fire, it is easier to navigate what you need to do. The only other thing is that the library of books list are now in book covers not in a list format of the books stored and does not tell you now which books you have read which I find annoying if you can’t remember which you still haven’t read. Apart rom that I am very happy.

Great tablet, easy to set up.
This is my second kindle fire, first one is 6 years old now and still works fine except recently the battery decided it was done and it will no longer charge. Kindle recognises the charger, gets the lightning bolt over the battery symbol, and promptly doesn't charge and jjust loses battery slower.. Its not the charger as my Oasis charges on the same charger just fine. Anyway think my first one is 7th gen and noticed lots of differences between this and my old one. Charger connection is different so you cannot use the same charger if you have an older kindle of any kind, but its supplied so doesnt matter, screen is brighter (oled maybe?) interface is slightly different, and set up even easier and quicker than I remember. This one also requires you to make a password or pin which my old one does not. Amazon app also connects to amazon uk on this one whereas old one annoyingly takes me to .com despite being on the uk english setting. Personally I don't like the fire for reading on, partially due to the glossy screen, hence I got the Oasis a couple of years ago, but as a tablet its great. Overall really impressed and highly recommend the fire tablet. Now if they would only add playstore compatability......
