Buggytug Universal Pram Wrist Strap

I have been looking for a strap for my jogging stroller. We have lots of hills and I'm always petrified I will trip or accidentally let go and now I don't have to worry (not about letting go of the stroller anyway ;) it's tight, but isn't it supposed to be so it doesn't slip off. Would love if it was a little longer but this definitely does the trick.

I live in San Francisco and it's really scary to walk down a steep hill with my stroller in front of me, knowing that if I trip my baby could roll away. It was difficult to find one of these safety tethers sold separately from a stroller - a local retailer suggested I use a dog leash, but it was too long and looked sloppy. I like the slight stretchiness of this neoprene fabric - it's comfortable and easy to slip on and off my wrist (I only use it on steep hills). I am buying a second one for our other stroller.

The wrist opening on this strap is a little tight, although my wrists are admittedly on the large side for a woman. But this strap definitely does what it's intended to do - provide a little peace of mind by preventing a runaway carriage.

Too small. My hand barely fits in it and it is too short.

Great for me, but my husband can't get his hand through it. I use it on the hills in San Francisco for peace of mind. It's disappointing my husband can't use it as well.

This thing is so simple yet so necessary. I use it on my stroller, my baby's car seat when she's in the shopping cart--everywhere we go. I'm probably an overprotective new mom, but this wrist strap is a great safety feature and brings me peace of mind.The strap is well-made and the material is strong but stretchy.

Really not big enough to get an average size hand through the loop - which sort of defeats the purpose of the item.

I don't know why nobody else sells after-market wrist straps for the jogging strollers, but this product is great. We thought about using a dog leash, but the neoprene that this one is made out of is very comfortable and secure. Both my wife and I use it, and it has become a permanent addition to the jogger.

I don't often leave reviews, but I'd searched for ages for a solution and this item is absolutely perfect for the purpose I bought it for: to provide a wrist strap to use with reins for my toddler, but equally it would be perfect for its intended buggy/pram extra safety use. It's well made, comfortable on the skin and has just the right amount of give to not jolt at an abrupt stop. As with other reviews, the wrist loop is quite small, however this is perfect for my small hands as I don't need to worry about holding onto to it, or it slipping off my wrist so gives me free hands which is much needed when out with my toddler and dogs! I often use it just looped around my hand as in pic so I can easily swap around when tangled with dog leads, but it is big enough and has enough stretch to easily go over my wrist. I agree with other comments though, if you have large hands/wrists it might not be the strap for you.

22.01.2018: 3 Tage nach Bestellung erhalten (von Amazon gesendet). Angenehm am Handgelenk. Passt für meinen Mann und mich locker, vielleicht nicht für sehr große Hände (ist aber elastisch). Schon bei mehreren Spaziergängen mit steilem Gefälle verwendet und "getestet", geht super. Sieht robust aus. Ich freue mich, jetzt sicherer unterwegs zu sein.Update 25.06.2021: Das Band hat für die ganze Kinderwagen-Zeit unseres Sohnes ausgehalten und war SEHR nützlich. Wie neu. Nur das Etikett ist mit der Zeit zusammengerollt. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

We purchased this for our daughter's godmother who has two children under the age of 18mths. We live in a hilly area and they enjoy walking a lot and we thought this would be helpful in securing the stroller; we were correct. They have found it extremely valuable and wish they thought of this brilliant idea. The Buggy Tug is sturdy, light weight, simple to use and easily stored when not in use. It arrive on time and we found the price very reasonable. We would definitely recommend the Buggy Tug.
