But I wanted spare cables, so I paid the price asked. It turns out that what I got for my money was a set of earbuds PLUS the spare charging cables I intended to buy. The description doesn't mention the earbuds (or I overlooked that fact), so I was very pleased when I opened the shipping envelope. So be advised, this item consists of a set of earbuds with a dual charging cable, but without the little light-up charging stand.My wife really likes these, and so far they have worked well. They are not as good as the Apple product they imitate, but they cost less than one tenth the price. They are rugged, and can take some punishment. My wife dropped one on a concrete floor, and it split open. She snapped the pieces back together and it works fine. Only time will tell if they last for the long run, but now I have two sets, so I think we're gonna be okay...By the way, most of the negative reviews and the low rating seem to be from people who thought they were buying an Apple knockoff for a cheaper price. These earbuds only look like the Apple product (more or less), but don't seem to be in any way compatible with the Apple earbuds. It seems you can't charge one product with the other's charging stand, for example. But, hey...If you want Apple, buy Apple. Pay the price. If you pay this price, you gotta accept the fact that some corners are gonna be cut. My wife and I chose to pay the reduced price, but so far she has been very pleased with the results. Battery time might be a bit short, hence the need to have a charging cable both at home and at work, but in all other respects, we're quite happy so far. If anything goes wrong in such a way that we feel we've been had, we'll let you know.Additional comments, December 4, 2019: One of the earbuds that came with the charging cables (not the stand) seems to have died, according to my wife. But the charging cables still work. That leaves us with the original pair of earbuds plus their charging stand, one spare earbud, and the spare cable I bought for my wife to keep in the office. But she still uses them on her commute, and in the office several times a week. She says the sound may not match the Apple product, but for the price, what the hey...Because the cable and it's accompanying earbuds are kept in my wife's office, I haven't been able to fool around with them to see if I can get the other earbud to charge. One of the earbuds in the original case occasionally has to be wiggled to light up, but it does work without undue problems. Maybe I'll be writing another update in a coupla months, but so far, so good.I can't recommend these products if you aren't willing to take a chance. We took our chances on both products, and it looks like we beat the dealer. But if you want Apple quality and assurance, pay the price. I can easily expect there's a few defective pieces, but it seems sometimes buyers here are complaining because the cheap substitute is, in fact, a cheap substitute. Read all the reviews, discount those that complain they didn't get Apple quality for a knockoff price, and then make your decision. But realize that at this price, you ARE taking a chance.November 5, 2020One and a half sets of earbuds, the charging stand, and the charging cable are still working just fine. We're very satisfied. My only problem is that I can't get the one earbud that crackles with static open to try to fix it.
