Kärcher Garment Steamer, for Kärcher SC 3 EasyFix Steam Cleaner, Easy Steaming and Refreshing of Textiles and Clothing

I bought a Karcher floor steamer that can be used as a garnet steamer with this attachment. The attachment is very good for steaming an entire garment very quickly. It definitely refreshes a garnet that has been worn, but not dirty enough to wash or send to the dry cleaners. Because the attachment fits a floor steamer, it is a much more powerful garment steamer than the steamers I pack for travel.

This product does not function at all. The drain plug for the condensation reservoir can be removed, but not replaced at operating temperature. Therefore it won't seal and cannot function. Catastrophic fail, all for $50.

Quite honestly, this is very poorly designed. It leaks. It leaves wet drains on fabrics. I did not use it for a while, as I had a proper garment steamer. Finally, I decided to drop the steamer and start using this attachment instead. Big mistake, this attachment just leaves puddles of water and does not do a good job steaming. Wet trails, wet clothing. I would not recommend. The karcher unit itself works fine with other attachments.

It also attaches and detaches smoothly, and the build quality feels solid, as you’d expect from Kärcher.
