not exactly sure bough it on line at amazon but because at the belmont stakes you cannot have coolers that you cant see into so this held 8 beers 3 waters 4 sandwitches my racing form cheeze nips and some other product. i put ice bags in bottom security at belmont loved the bags and let us right in very durable not cheaply made

This bag has four (4) metal zipper handles. The zippers themselves are made of plastic, all other parts are sewn together including the shoulder strap. It shouldn't set of the medal detector unless it's very sensitive. Hope this helps.

Q: can you keep water cold and what size is bag?

You can place up to 8 16oz water bottles or 6 20oz Gator-Aid bottle up-right in this Large Bag. You can partially freeze them to keep them cold or you can purchase clear zip-lock sandwich bags and freeze them then place them inside the bag to keep items inside cold. You would have to remove some other items. All in all, there is plenty of space for your average meal inside this bag.

Q: I notice under description it lists the color as "red" Is this referring to the trim? The picture shows clear bag and black trim?

We looked at the description and did not see the color as red. We can assure you that the Event is clear and all the trip and zippers are indeed black. Thank you for asking.
