Now let me first start off by saying- this stuff is a gift from the heavens. Better than tea tree oil or whatever else I’ve used to help with blemishes. But let’s go more into detail: Before purchasing this, you really wanna make sure you have some type of witch hazel or something like that , to help with the burn and redness. Because this stuff does BURN- a lot. Fortunately though: your skin will get used to the burning sensation after a few times of using this. Secondly- the first time you use this on the problem area, leave it on for like 20 seconds. Yes it’s gonna burn. Yes, the initial reaction will scare you- but the redness, irritation, and puffiness will subside after a few hours. Not gonna lie when I first used this stuff on this stupid bug bite I had, the way it made my skin look- terrified me lol. But the results were something out of a book of sorcery or something because… just trust the process. Now the effects- For the first few hours, the problem area, bite, acne, etc- will look super inflamed and red. But I would say after maybe 6-8, whatever bump, bug bite or pimple you had, will literally shrivel up. I’d recommend applying this a few times throughout the day, if you really want it your bump to wilt away- and die. Also, PLEASE get some type of neutralizer like witch hazel or whatever, to help with the redness. Also, after about 20-30 seconds- wash with COLD water. You’ll thank me later. If you do this, When you wake up in the morning, it’ll pretty much be either- gone, or close to it. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. Now the after effects- You may have some “scarring”. This scared me at first, as the bump was gone, but the area around it- darkened. Good news is- it literally peels away after like a day, and pretty brand new skin appears, feeling nice and smooth. I purchased this about a month ago as a last ditch effort. I stopped taking birth control over a year ago and my face acne came back with a vengeance. My body felt incredible but my skins was a mess. I spent months trying creams and probiotics, but nothing worked until this. Within just a month my skin is nearly clear. Finally!!! I do have a few recommendations if you plan to try this for the first time. I apply a light layer over my problem areas morning and night. It mildly stings for about 5 minutes after applying but it goes away quickly. It does dry out skin, so I use an exfoliating face brush daily and an exfoliating cream every other day. I use a lightweight moisturizer morning and night as well. I did this for about a month and my acne is nearly erased. So, now I will start to use it as a spot treatment as needed. For me, blemishes dry up in 1-2 days with this. It’s incredible stuff. This is officially a staple in my house and I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with breakouts. I couldn’t be happier with the results!!

I have had medical grade peels in the past. Although peels performed by a licensed Dermatologist are of higher grade, this is a great at home and/or alternative product that delivers results. Things to consider: Consider having a professional medical grade peel first. Wait the time needed to heal. Follow up with this salicylic acid by Pure at home and as prescribed. This product will then better be able to penetrate the skins layers, significantly prolonging and maintaining the results. You may feel a burning, tingling sensation. Your face may turn red. To help mitigate these effects, leave on skin for 30 seconds and only use it a couple of times a week. Once your skin becomes acclimated, you are able to leave it on longer and use it more often. You may experience flaking. This is more true for people who already have dry skin. If you have problematic skin (acne), your skin may purge. It’s important to know that when using any AHA/BHA’s, purging of the skin is a completely normal process. To yield the best results, consistency is key. It may get worse before it gets better. Stick with it. It can take 4-6 weeks to yield full results. You do not need a neutralizer. Cool water applied to the face will neutralize this product. In fact, if you read the ingredients in a neutralizer, you will see it’s just (distilled) water. Save your money here. Moisturize. Any acids can be extremely drying to the skin, so it’s important that you have a good moisturizer. Applying a face oil after your moisturizer as the last step of your skin care routine can hugely beneficial your skin’s moisture content. Acids will make your skin hyper sensitive to the sun’s rays, so it is imperative that you use at least a SPF 30 in the morning on daily basis. Over time, this product will render visible results, reducing pore size, blackheads, acne and fine lines. This will lead to your skin’s texture looking and feeling smooth and radiant. Worth incorporating into your skin care routine.

This Salicylic Acid 20% Solution works well for clarifying and brightening. It helps draw the sebum and blackheads out of your pores. It doesn’t seem to be a peeling agent at this concentration, but more of a strong exfoliant.

It’s always hard for me to look at reviews of product when people don’t show photo proof, so I always find myself ordering a product so I can see for myself whether their complaint/compliment was wrong or right. This product definitely works. These photos are literally day 2 after I got the product delivered. Now I did/didn’t follow instructions. -I wash my face, pat it dry, I put the product on and rubbed it on my face/neck carefully. -I left it on for 30 seconds, it was uncomfortable & burned but bearable for the short time and then I splashed cold water gently (not to wash it off) and I splashed it a lot to cool my face off. -I air dried my face with my hands, I take a towel to catch the water from my chin -I spray a witch hazel facial mist on and then add my Anua Niacinamide/TXA serum following a vitamin c facial mist and then moisturizer. I did this 3 times in a day yesterday and today and this is the result on day 2! (I DO NOT recommend doing this though bc they said a every 1-2 weeks, I just know that my skin can handle it & will be toning it down to 2/3 times a week) You CANNOT I repeat CANNOT use this without a neutralizer like witch hazel or Niacinamide. YOU NEED IT otherwise you’re going to ruin your skin. It takes the burning away immediately too! I’ve never let my skin get this bad and I couldn’t take it anymore as it was getting worse. Every since I moved down south some months ago it’s gotten bad (i think it’s the water) I needed something to figure these problems that appeared out of nowhere and I’m glad I did. Try it for yourself. This product will now be a staple in my skin cabinet! My skin is so smooth! EDIT: I forgot to mention that this does peel your skin after a few uses, I don’t advise just peeling it though. When I wash my face I rub it off like dead skin only when wet.

Ive already purchased this twice and ill repurchase again when my current bottle runs out. This *instantly* makes my skin look so much better. My primary skin concern has always been large pores and texture, and my skin looks almost poreless immediately after i use this serum. And so, so soft. I will say though, it might damage your skin if youre careless since its a very concentrated spa quality product. I gave myself a mild chemical burn once from trying to suffer through the burning and leave it on longer than usual. never leave it on for much longer than 45 seconds. wash off with cold water (hot water will make the burning worse as you wash it off) and use a moisturizer afterwards. i use it once every 2 weeks or so, or whenever my skin is starting to get rough or congested (overuse would likely dry out your skin pretty bad, since its such a strong chemical exfoliant).
