Sound Percussion Labs SP880SS Double-Braced Snare Stand

This is a well-built and solid stand. The design lets you place your snare drum on top and adjust the threaded knob underneath to grip the snare. The rubberized grips will not scratch your chrome. I like this stand. The only downside is that it is designed for the player to use while sitting. Unless you are not very tall, the stand does not telescope up high enough to comfortably use while standing. I wish they had extended the pipe just a little more to allow this option.

Here is a slightly more expensive but significantly better quality stand. I got it primarily for a practice pad, but (of course) it will give you what you need under your snare drum as well. The adjustments give you a solid feeling of stability. Cheap is cheap, but this isn't. It is a healthy gauge of tubing with quite substantial feet. Some taller people might appreciate more height. But normal size people will have no complaints at all.

Wow, talk about quality! This stand is worth 10 stars. It is such a nice solid, attractive piece. My son is a drummer and needed a new snare drum stand - He said it is perfect. He said he likes how easily it adjusts, it is solid as a rock, also likes how easily it folds up for transport. The rubber supports seem like they will be long lasting.

I have used the snare stand for a month now and have not had any problems with it. It folds/unfolds easily and the rubber tips and feet are thick and study. Adjustment to snare size is easy to do and angles easily. Chrome seems satisfactory all adjustment screws are metal except for the snare diameter adjuster, which is plastic.

Bought for my kid just getting into drums.Great stand for the money ... better then a lot of pricier ones I've seen. - well built ... solid - rubber grips your snare and it tightens easily - feet are great even on bare floor - not tipsy ... sits solid100% happy

This is my second Sound Percussion stand! First one I purchased at Guitar Center in OKC and use to hold my Cajon Bongo and Snare drums in class where I teach Elementary music. Excellent stand and at a great price! Would recommend for anyone who doesn't want to spend alot for a basic snare stand.

Nice snare stand. The only downside is if you use a snare under 14", it stay low. I cut out a couple of pieces of foam to make a 12" snare fit better.

We actually bought this to hold an electric drum pad we bought our son for Christmas. For the money there is no greater value out there. This is well made, holds the pad securely and the rubber feet are of excellent quality.
