this is the most reliable turn signal system I've found for biking. I rejected several bike-mounted options as they lacked reliability, couldn't hold charge, or failed to pair with the controller provided, or had a controller that could not be operated with full gloves. while it's designed for back-pack mount, I have mine strapped to a Fox Titan body armor jacket. it's detachable so I can still wash the jacket when it stinks, but it has enough strap action to hold in place even in a spill. it holds a charge for weeks or more. it has an easily accessed full USB plug (male) that pulls out of the zipped compartment. I did end up using a female cable to charge it, but it's not necessary if you're willing to put it up close to the socket (which got old for me given I've got it mounted on body armor.) the controller is the MOST reliable/effective design I've seen in bike turn signals. the buttons are raised and easy to see and feel. I can reliably get the button I wanted on the first try without looking. you will get a moment's flashing light verification on the controller, but this light will not persist. on the downside, this means the rider can't be certain what signal is being displayed at any given time (but this is unfortunately typical for most bike turn signal systems.) the work-around is to get into the habit of hitting the "fwd" or "neutral" flash buttons whenever you're in doubt. again, like most comparable products, your signal will persist until you set it to a different option (yes, even most motorcycles work this way.) while I'd LIKE a better product (that includes a signal light on the controller itself) I am not aware of any other product that includes everything this one does, plus a cockpit light. I'm ranking this "best so far" after rejecting many other options...

Got this for the wife to use for riding her bicycle around with one of those trailers for children. She loves it! It is bright and you can see it for a long way off. She feels safer with this. Ow when she goes out riding the little one around. It is very lite and the battery lasts a very long time and actually haven’t charged it a second time yet. I just attached it to the back of the trailer and away she went. The remote works great and is super easy to install on the handlebar and even comes with the hardware to do so. You know what they say, happy wife happy life haha!!!

So close to 100% loving this product. I commute to work on my bicycle, in complete darkness this time if year, and this product helps me feel more safe. I’ll be honest, I don’t often use the turn signal or other indicators, but just the normal flashing alone I think helps makes me a lot more visible. I would use the indicators more, except that after a couple seconds I can’t tell from the controller what people behind me are seeing, which is not helpful. So, if I turn on the turn signal, space out as I’m trying to navigate through traffic, happen to remember to turn the signal off even though there is no indication it’s still going, I have to hold down the reset button for several seconds to make it go back to the normal flashing, then hope for the best. I have confused drivers more than once by accidently leaving a turn indicator on. Drivers do seem to generally respect the indicator and will hold back to let me change lanes. I love that the product is rechargeable.

LOVE how bright this is for daylight use. No brainer for nighttime. But, the zip ties wont hold at all-remote just spins. I suggest a cut up piece of rubber from an old inner tube or buy from store (pretty cheap fix). Battery life is awesome. There were no directions really about the straps. It took me a minute- but its really pretty smart; the "teeth" will "lock" when buckle is snapped to a straight position. To unlock teeth you have to "bend-down" (90 degrees) the plastic connection that is attached to the elastic strap. I hope that makes sense. I'd buy this again if needed. I love it. Just be sure to hold for three seconds to put the command back to whatever you select.

I commute on bicycle twice daily for about a half hour, on the way home it's after dark so it looked like a good product to have, especially since I use two different sizes of backpack, depending on what I need to carry. The first thing I noticed when i first turned it on was how bright it is. I have a very well lit living room and it was still bright in comparison. The controls seemed to work and it was easy to figure out how to attach it. I don't know what it looks like riding because, you know, it's on my back, but I've used it in foggy, snowy and dark conditions so far and when I got to work or home it seemed to be doing the job it's meant to. I haven't charged it in the three days since I got it so, so far, with short commutes the battery seems to last a while.

This device has made me feel far more confident, safe, and visible when on the road. I use an electric scooter and commute to work on it in Boston, and this allows me to communicate my direction clearly with larger vehicles without using hand signals. It is very bright at night, and decently visible during full sun. The controller mounts easily with two zip ties (included for me) on the handlebars of your vehicle. It charges through USB, and keeps charge for weeks for me. I'm asked about this all the time when I stop at a light in a bike lane. GREAT JOB Fancywing! Keeping me safe!

Goods: -Bright led lights -Battery is good -Install is easy (for the bike part of it) Bad: -Clips that attach the straps on the device to your backpack / jacket are really cheap. I worry that the thing will fall off mid-ride and I don't expect the plastic to last longer than a year. Metal binder clips or carabiner-clips would work much better (in fact, that's probably how I'll modify it myself).

This is the most fun product ever. I love the left/right turn signals and the bright red warning sign as well. The forward direction maybe confusing to some drivers. Late at night this device lights up a block. I attached this to my computer backpack making it easier for cars when I am riding my bike, walking home, or on the scooter. I get complements all the time. Like others have noted, the clips are flimsy but workable.
