However I would have liked it if the cables looked like the picture
It didn't come as pictured however works quite well and I have grew fond of the alternative look of the cable. However I would have liked it if the cables looked like the picture.

Four months & still working
Purchased to replace the original A/V cables that came with my Wii, still good after the third of a year that lapsed since buying. Tricky thing about these cables are that the right audio and one of the video plugs are the exact same shade of red. The manufactures attempted to alleve confusion by grouping both audio plugs with a rubber connecter, but be aware if you're used to the standard orange for video components.

Picture is fine, sound has major issues
There must be some kind of short or break internally on the cables, as they play the same audio on the left and right channels, however the left channel is much quieter.

A must-have for anyone with a Wii/Wii U and a component-capable TV
This is a simple cable that does exactly what it should do. It's not labeled very well, and mine doesn't look exactly like the picture (see my attached picture); however, it gets the job done at a no-brainer price, and the difference in quality from the standard AV/composite is definitely noticeable.I like how the cable matches the style of the Nintendo-official cables - it looks cohesive with my current system. The colored plugs on my version are a little bulky, which makes plugging them in a bit more difficult. However, it shouldn't cause any problems. This component cable should be as good as any - I wouldn't recommend spending significantly more for a "higher-quality" cable. You'll notice the difference between composite and component, but it's unlikely you'll notice any picture-quality difference between different component cables.

Works great, no complaints
It's absurd that the Wii doesn't already come with these stupid cables - like, who doesn't have a freakin' HDTV? ... probably anyone who is buying a Wii, I guess.Anyway, these cables worked entirely as intended. I didn't have any problem setting them up and they work perfectly. I was getting really frustrated because the Wii won't transmit video data properly over the substandard prepackaged cables that come with it if you plug it into certain HDTVs. It was all black and white and mildly fuzzy. I felt like I was back in time a bit.Swapped over to these cables, set up was a breeze and the Wii is now completely operational. Let's hope Nintendo fixes their mistakes in future generations of systems... if they survive that long.

We have a DLP TV so going to a good 480i picture was just fine
We have a DLP TV so going to a good 480i picture was just fine. Bought this cable in July and just now went back to the originalWii video output because the picture was unwatchable. We wanted to make sure it was the cable and not the box. The cable justwent bad. The machine was never unhooked or moved after we installed the new cable. Just picked up a universal component( Red Green Blue video cables instead of the one Yellow) at Best Buy for 10 bucks that fits Wii, PS 2 & 3, and X Box 360.

IMPORTANT! READ THIS TO PLAY NES, SNES, SEGA AND ALL VIRTUAL CONSOLE GAMES!!
Hey everyone! I have read a number of reviews complaining this cable did not work with NES SNES SEGA and other old VIRTUAL CONSOLE games. It does but to do it you need to go into Wii Options>Wii Settings>Screen>TV Resolution and set it to EDTV or HDTV (480P). This will get all those old games working. I hope this helps. As for the cable itself, It is a good cable, seems well made and the price was right. I even paid a couple bucks more because I like having a cable that looks like the original. There were cheaper options that were different and did not go with my system. Still was under $10 when I bought it here in early 2017.

Replacement for a TV without the old RCA option
Needed a new connecter for our original Wii system after replacing the TV to a newer model that didn't have the old Yellow-Red-White style RCA connectors anymore Picked this one from the seemingly hundreds of options out there simply because it was pretty darn cheap and it was in stock and could ship via Prime immediately. First time we hooked it up we thought we had bad cables: a loud static noise and snowy image. Then we realized we messed up the two Red connectors (apparently it DOES matter) and everything works wonderfully. Sharp picture (but don't expect ultra high def, silly). Clear audio. Remember to change your Wii settings to 480p and widescreen (and remember to change your TV to widescreen too, if necessary).
