Review: Good product and great Tier 2 customer support - I just want to mention that I had some problems connecting Ray5 to Lightburn on WiFi (while USB connection worked fine) and reached out to customer support. Initially, I was pointed to some online resources that didn't help to fix the problem I had - Lightburn would not connect to Ray2 20W due to port 23 being disable in the firmware (found out later on, while next level support was engaged). It took some time to get to the next level support, which is very knowledgeable and gave me the solution. They sent me the .bin file and was able to re-enable port 23 (telnet) by updating the firmware they sent me. It is just the hassle that you have to explain first level support and they would not understand the problem at all. I will give it 5 starts, because at the end it fixed the problem. The Longer is a more powerful laser and burns quicker. Once adjusted it burns a fine line and makes beautiful art. The only problem I have with the Longer is the adjusting of the focus. You have to put a block in the back of the module to focus and it has to be sitting perfectly level. If it is not sitting perfect it will print double lines and mess up the whole project! I would like to see them come up with a way to focus where you could see the focus tool.
