I'll start by saying I love this product! My teeth have honestly never felt cleaner! And ironically my sensitivity has now completely gone? And this isn't even a sensitive toothpaste? You get that lovely squeaky clean feeling after every use! Slight negative is that obviously the powder isn't sweetned so naturally isn't as enjoyable on the palate, that being said the taste is totally fine, very minty and quite a lovely freshness left after use. Honestly any reservations I had about purchasing this product before hand are completely gone, I will continue to purchase this when mine eventually runs out, probably in another years time as it seems to last forever!

It is not an unpleasant flavour, just odd. It works and my partners last dentist appointment proves this! Very cheap! LOL

I originally purchased this as I'm trying to reduce the amount of plastic I purchase and I was also fed up with paying silly money for tiny toothpaste tubes when I'm travelling. Packaging is excellent - all recyclable - glass jar, metal top and cardboard box. Unfortunately, it did come with bubble wrap but I did recycle that - I would prefer card/paper packaging (please). It is small enough to transfer from my bathroom shelf to my toiletry bag. I originally purchased the Spearmint flavour which was OK, a little light and not as fresh as the Peppermint flavour which I bought subsequently. But that may be personal preference. I use a small pea-size amount and the jar lasts a long time. I suffer from slight staining on my teeth at the front which I usually go to a hygienist to remove every 6-12 months. I won't need to do this anymore (saving at least £60 pa). Within just a week, I noticed that my teeth were cleaner and the staining was disappearing. I have not had any staining since using this toothpaste. My teeth felt much smoother. Fantastic plus point, considering it was not the intention of my purchase! I was seriously impressed and have recommended the paste to my sister and parents - they have also commented on the paste's cleaning ability. This is one of the best purchases I've made from Amazon, hence the 5 stars - I'd give it 6 if I could. Although I'm disappointed by a bit of the packaging (bubble wrap), I feel it would be mean to deduct a star. Some people have asked if the paste causes problems with sensitive teeth - I have had no problems.

Smells minty doesn't taste minty. Tastes of sodium bicarb straight out of the cookery rack. To be fair though your teeth feel very very polished afterwards. An aquired taste. Not v practical to share as you have to stick your toothbrush in the pot. Probably won't buy another pot

In my efforts to reduce plastic I decided to give this a go. I'm really glad I did! My teeth feel so much better now! You have to get your head around the fact that it's not going to taste or feel like other toothpastes which you are used to. This is the best alternative and it certainly clears your teeth brilliantly, so yes I shall be buying this every time. Even my teenage sons use it so it must be good!

I love this product! At first I didn't like the taste because I was so used to artificial toothpaste favouring but once I got over the initial reaction and noticed how effectively it cleaned my teeth, I began to notice the cleansing taste of the bicarb. They have made it so it's slightly fizzing so it cleans better, I imagine. I now love the taste and my teeth are much cleaner than with the more chemical and plastic toothpaste. Ah, I forgot: no plastic!! Love it!

Dont buy this it tastes like piss cement. Like brushing your teeth with Talcum powder. Ill need to use this to keep the rats away from the bins or dilute it with water to keep the weeds at bay. Stay well clear absolutely horrid!!!!!

I bought this as my gums were constantly bleeding when brushed them, in the past I used a number of products but none really worked. This how ever worked after only 3 days. I’m very happy with the results

Good but taste a bit to be desired

Ottimo prodotto dal sapore delicato. Inizialmente, leggendo la descrizione, temevo che il gusto fosse troppo intenso e fastidioso, ma mi sono dovuto ricredere. Appena arrivato l’ho subito provato: l’odore è effettivamente pungente, con una forte nota di menta piperita come indicato, ma il sapore è invece molto delicato e per nulla invadente. Per utilizzarlo, basta appoggiare lo spazzolino asciutto sulla polvere. È importante non bagnare lo spazzolino prima di prelevare il prodotto: in caso contrario, si rischia di raccogliere troppa polvere, sprecandola inutilmente, oltre a introdurre umidità nel barattolo, causando la formazione di grumi (visibili anche in foto). Dopo qualche utilizzo si impara facilmente a dosare la quantità giusta, che è davvero minima. A differenza dei dentifrici in tubetto, questo prodotto non produce schiuma, ma ciò non significa che pulisca meno: anzi, la schiuma dei dentifrici tradizionali è spesso solo una strategia di marketing e non è indice di maggiore efficacia nell’igiene orale. Dopo un periodo di utilizzo di questo dentifricio, tornando a uno classico, ho percepito subito il gusto eccessivamente forte dei dentifrici convenzionali, che ho trovato fastidioso. Anche dal punto di vista economico, inizialmente ero un po’ scettico, dato che il prezzo sembra più alto rispetto ai dentifrici tradizionali. In realtà è vero il contrario: essendo una polvere concentrata, basta una quantità molto ridotta per ogni utilizzo, rendendolo molto più duraturo ed economico. Un altro grande punto a favore è l’attenzione all’ambiente: • Si riduce drasticamente l’uso di plastica e imballaggi superflui. • Il prodotto è contenuto in un elegante barattolo di vetro con tappo in latta, racchiuso in una scatolina di carta riciclata. • Il barattolo, oltre ad essere esteticamente gradevole, è facilmente riutilizzabile una volta terminato il prodotto. • L’essenza concentrata del dentifricio riduce anche i volumi di stoccaggio e trasporto. • Infine, chi produce questo tipo di prodotti di solito adotta una filosofia realmente attenta alla sostenibilità ambientale. Va tenuto presente che, per motivi igienici, il vasetto dovrebbe essere utilizzato da una sola persona, dato che lo spazzolino viene a contatto diretto con la polvere. Se proprio devo trovare un piccolo difetto, avrei preferito un sapore di menta un po’ più fresco e persistente in bocca. Nota sulla spedizione: Purtroppo Amazon ha spedito il barattolo dentro una busta eccessivamente grande rispetto alle dimensioni reali del prodotto. Perché non utilizzare imballaggi più piccoli per ridurre gli sprechi? Forse perché poi sarebbero troppo piccoli e si perderebbero più facilmente? Conclusione: un prodotto che consiglio, sia per la qualità che per i benefici ambientali ed economici!
