Frienhund 7L Automatic Cat Feeder for 2 Cats with APP Control(ACF190W-A)

Putting this together was pretty simple - even I could follow the instructions so it should be a dawdle for everyone! You will need to get some D batteries and have it hooked up to power (it didnt seem to work at first when I just had the batteries in which was a little surprising). Good thing is that it is USB-C which is very convenient. It seems to be pretty good quality so far - my kittens are yet to knock it over. There is an additional piece to mount it to a wall (which they recommend you do) but that was a bit of a faff so I didnt bother and seems to be ok. The app was a little weird to start with but once I got the hang of it I was away laughing. I set some schedules and then realised the second option was to set the amount of each feed which was helpful. I also like the fact that you can manually dispense food (either on the app or the device). The hopper is a decent size and seems to hold enough of my kittens food for a good few days so far (probably up to a week). No issues with the food size - it seems to dispense well. My kittens are now used to hearing the beep and their food hitting the bowl - they come running!

Exactly what we were looking for. Easy to clean and set up, compact and looks great. No spills and our cats are getting used to it. Great product and peace of mind when we are away.

Very good product. Works like it should and takes the worry away knowing my cats are being fed on a night away.

Works well when it works. Had it 2 months and when it is working, it is great. You can set timers on how regularly it feeds the cats and how much each portion is. However, the ‘blades’ inside the body of the device which turn and rotate biscuits out each time are made of flimsy rubber/plastic type material and it’s got to the point where at least once a day now, a biscuit gets caught between the blade and the part where the biscuits fall down into the blades and it jams the device and doesn’t deliver any portions until I empty the device, remove the offending biscuit then refill it again. Not sure if it is just my unit which seems faulty or if this is a design flaw. If it didn’t constantly jam, it would be very good but where it jams, it’s unreliable

The rotating sweeper which dispenses food has been badly designed. Pieces of food get stuck inside this mechanism and the motor doesn't have enough torque to clear the jam. This means once jammed it completely stops feeding but the app will continue to state it has completed the feed. The only way to clear the jam is to mostly empty it, only for it to jam again a few feeds later. I did not have this issue in my old feeder with the same kibble, and the kibble is the correct size. I bought this product so I'd have peace of mind my cats have been fed whilst I am away from home. This device this outrageously bad, since not only does it stop working, it let's you think you have fed your cats whilst they slowly starve!! Thank God I tested it before trusting it.

Great feeder. Large container and app works well

I bought this to replace my old cat feeder which broke down. It was extremely easy to set up especially with the useful video on the selling page. I also like the fact that the two bowls are situated on opposite sides of the feeder. However, I was swayed by the amount of food it holds, 7 Litres is more than any of the other feeders. This means that hopefully I can leave my cats for a week with enough food. I don’t mind the fact that you can’t record my voice but my ginger Tom looks at it in confusion because my previous cat feeder did have my voice recording on.

The product it’s self is fine, easy to set up and has been working fine no issue. However one thing I will mention, the metal bowls that come out of the plastic part are very very sharp around the edges. I’ve cut both of my fingers an so has my partner.

Ottimo prodotto, comodo da impostare e semplice da gestire. Ottimo anche il supporto del venditore che, nonostante un difetto di fabbrica affiorato dopo 2 mesi, è stato gentilissimo e disponibile grazie ad un ottimo staff di supporto.

Doesn’t reliably dispense food. We’ve had this set up for five days and it’s missed at least 4 scheduled meals, although the app says the food was dispensed. The portions are too big for cats. A single portion is 11 grams of our kittens’ food, so the slow feed option is functionally pointless. Really disappointing. I wouldn’t trust my cats to actually be fed if I had to be gone for a day.

Va como un tiro y la app es bastante sencilla de usar e inmediata. Las proporciones me parecen correctas y puedes hacer un horario súper completo, indicando las horas que tú quieras a las que salga la comida. Echo en falta poder grabar un mensaje o que suene algo cuando sale la comida, aunque los gatos según se abre la compuerta ya lo escuchan y van corriendo. Realmente no hace falta, pero queda más fancy hahah. Me manda una notificación cada vez que sale la comida, aunque si te quedas sin comida en el tanque sigue indicándote como que ha ido todo perfecto, no detecta si ha echado algo al plato o no, aunque lo normal es estar pendiente de si hay comida suficiente en el depósito. Recomiendo :)

Le distributeur fonctionne bien et de bonne qualité on peu choisir le dosage depuis l appli qui est très simple d utilisation et le vocal est assez grand pour plusieurs jours avec 3 chats

Sehr zuverlässig und die Steuerung per App funktioniert super. Unsere beiden StubenTiger streiten sich nicht mehr um ihr Futter, denn jeder hat seinen eigenen Napf.
