My wife and I have been wanting to try fresh pasta for a while now and this pasta press has quickly turned us from beginners into professionals! Everything was very easy to use and we loved all the options that the different pressing plate gave us. The all metal body of the attachment was a big selling point for us especially today when everything is made from plastic. We felt confident in the sturdiness and longevity of the pasta maker and it was a lot of fun to use! As a side note, the pasta press is much easier to clean before the pasta dries so I suggest cleaning it right away. We are very happy with our purchase!

This item broke on second use. The pasta ring can not be unscrewed. We tried every tool we have in our work shop to remove that ring and it won't move. And the auger is not rotating. This is not acceptable quality, as it is only the second time I have used this attachment. It appears heavy duty but unfortunately it's junk. Also there is no warranty for this item.

This was a gift and is being used and the recipient is enjoying making pasta with this attachment.

My Mom loved her late Mother's Day gift. She took it to her friend's house and they used it for their KA pasta making class. They found it easy to use and had a few beginner errors but that had to do with the flour switch out. They found it easy to clean if they followed the reviews and cleaned it while the pasta was not dried on the unit. Upon inspection I see that the unit is sturdy and fits well.

For at-home chefs who like a little adventure with their carbs I tried this pasta press with my Kitchenaid, and it is very easy to attach and use. When you get the dough recipe right, it presses beautifully and feels surprisingly satisfying to operate. The sturdier shapes come out great and look like something you could proudly pretend came from an Italian grandmother. But the spaghetti and angel hair settings seem to have formed a union and refused to cooperate. No matter what I did, the dough came out too thick and clumpy for those thinner shapes. Maybe it is user error, maybe the attachment knows I cannot be trusted with delicate pasta. Hard to say. Overall, it is fun, it works well for most shapes, and it is absolutely worth it if you like homemade pasta. Just be prepared for a little trial and error and some spaghetti-related self reflection.

I've been really impressed with this Metal Gourmet Pasta Press attachment for my KitchenAid mixer. The price I paid provided me a great solid metal build and five interchangeable plates — spaghetti, bucatini, fusilli, and both large and small macaroni — which is a fantastic variety for the cost. The attachment fits securely on the mixer and provides consistent pasta in minutes. Having so many plate options means I can switch up my pasta night without buying multiple gadgets. Has been one of the best value-for-money kitchen purchases I've made. Highly recommend!

Box came in great shape, all parts were included. It will take lots of practice to get homemade pasta correct. The biggest issue I have is how difficult it is to clean. Instructions only suggested to wipe with damp cloth. I had to wait for dough to dry up and then I could use provided brush to knock off dough from inside of mechanism…. It took a week

Pretty cool attachment. Mix up your dough based on the supplied recipes in the booklet, add to the pasta maker and it comes out the other end. The smaller the pasta, the slower it comes out. The larger shapes are faster. It’s a little tricky to clean but comes with a cleaning brush. It’s a nice addition to make home made fresh and preservative free pasta for the family. We made home made beefaroni and everyone loved it!!

Worked Great for the first few months. After about 10 uses, the plastic auger broke and it's now useless :(

It works good but it’s slow to make a bunch of pasta

Disappointing . I love my Kitchen Aid stand Mixer . I have used the Pasta Rollers/Cutters for years . I wanted to make other types of pasta so I ordered this attachment . It’s easy to use but very slow even on high speed . The pasta dough has to be SUPER DRY or it will not work properly . Adding extra flour to the dough to make is very dry is time consuming and makes the pasta Chewy . You can’t control the thickness of the dough . Running the mixer at high speed for over an hour overheats the motor . I returned it and will go back to using my wood pasta boards to make different pasta shapes . It is actually faster than the machine and allows me to control the thickness .
