I like it a lot. It sharpens my knives quickly and effortlessly. It's very small so it easily fits inside my cutlery drawer. Now this works great with kitchen knives but don't buy this because you need to sharpen an axe, a machete or a halberd. I believe it's only good for maintaining kitchen knives that are already in decent shape. You won't be able to sharpen a totally blunt knife with it. I suppose you can try and may succeed to a certain degree; however it's the wrong tool for this purpose.

I’ve used this for years, I was just going though my past orders and decided to review. This is so quick and easy when my knives are not slicing tomatoes. In 10 seconds my knife is slicing like a razor. This was a great purchase.

Handy little item! I had a two-stage sharpener that finally broke, and was looking for an inexpensive replacement. This sharpener has a non-stick bottom, and creates a nice shiny sharp finish for my pocket and kitchen knives. I recommend using on a cutting board, because as you pull the knife back it has a tendency to bounce off the counter. It is somewhat smaller than I expected, mainly because I didn't look at the dimensions before buying. I was pleasantly surprised to see it does not take up a whole lot of room in my cutlery drawer.That being said, this sharpener is great for touch ups, but borderline useless on larger knives. Both groves do more honing than anything else. I find sharpening in general a bit frustrating, but there are certainly better sharpeners out there. I think this one is ok for the kitchen.

I don't normally write product reviews, but after using this knife sharpener I had to add my comments and advice.This is a fantastic product that has brought new life into my knves. I have tried all the usual products to sharpen my knives but have left dissappointed, this does everything that it says it will, it is very easy to use and is not too big to take up space in your kitchen.Be warned though....... many cut fingers and sticky plasters on my wifes fingers and mine, do not put your sharpened knives into a sink full of dishes......you have been warned.I now look forward to using my knives instead of looking to purchase expensive knife sets in the hope that they will be sharp.Buy with confidence you will be happy that you did.
