Works as advertised. Came right away. I lost my cheapy 3 light plug tester in our last move and the house we purchased has several jacked up plugs I need to replace. I like that it has the GFCI tester is built in and it's seems to be good quality. It's fairly easy to read and understand. I liked my old ones red yellow green light configuration, but this is the most inexpensive one on the marketplace and whatever, just yellow and red. Made a little video of a GFCI outlet. It does have a bit of an ozone smell after plugging it in and testing the GFCI function, hopefully this isn't a safety issue.

Does the job and price is right. A toolbox standard.

It works pretty good. I don't know much about those devices but I don't understand why someone would buy a more expensive one when this works good. Maybe some professional electrician might know the difference or something but as a homeowner myself this os a great tool to have. It works right away with no delay or anything. GFCI circuit breaker also worked fine. Simple and easy, just like every device should be.

I saw my contractor using one of these so picked one up. I honestly wasn't sure if I'd ever use it, since I'm not handy and I don't touch electrical work on my own. But there have been a few times already that having this has told me whether the issue is the outlet or the item, and they also saved me a great deal of hassle by helping me figure out that an electrical issue at my trailer was as simple as a tripped GCFI. Definitely great to have on hand if you're not handy.

This handy little gadget is a must have and saved me many trips back and forth to the breaker box. I've replaced many electrical outlets changing to the deco style and used it before and after installing to ensure I did every one correctly, which I did. But because they are small they are easily lost in my garage so that's why I needed to buy this one..they all work the same and do what you need them to do. Don't do electrical without one‼️

The unit is easy to please because for the most part I got it to make sure the power is off the outlet when doing household electrical work on it for some reason. If the lights come on, especially two orange and no red, meaning correct wiring, then the power is on and have to go to the electrical panel and find the circuit breaker for it to turn it off, in order to change the outlet for some reason. I don't really care about all the light permutations indicating bad wiring conditions of some sort, up to 5 ways I believe. My only gripe is when you shake it lightly it rattles inside as if some plastic is broken or screws aren't tighten, but I have been assured by electricians it is nothing to worry about, doesn't effect its permutation problems finding abilities, and since I just want to know if the power is on or not, the outlet I am working on, I don't really care. Other than that it seems well put together and solid from the outside. If I was testing for bad wiring conditions all the time and the five permutations of light arrangements, indication of them, and just not seeing if the wall outlet is on or off, then I would return it for a new one for peace of mind. But like I said, electricians I talked to about the shaking noise don't think it is being effected in its abilities of light permutations of problems, indications.

I bought this to test all the outlets in my place to see if I could safely plug in a grounding cable. It showed me that my outlets are compatible. Good purchase and price.
