If the star rating system was in decimal format I would give this an actual rating of 4.7. The reason it's a 5 is because despite is minor flaw, it still delivers on it's promise and that's all I want.The minor flaw is that if you connect any controller to it and connect to PS5, depending on the controller you're using, you may notice latency or button input lag. In my testing I used a hautepad42 arcade stick and just basically switched between different set ups and see which had a faster response.Xbox controllers are probably the best to use with this.Sony controllers are fine but be wary this is where the minor flaw originated.Switch Pro controllers are also fine. If not probably better than Xbox controllers.When it works tho it's amazing. The ability to play any controller (in my case a stick) on any ps5 game is all I ever wanted. Worth the buy if that's what you want to do.

I bought this for the macro capabilities. It is extremely limited compared to the cronus zen but it's actually able to send input to the PS5 faster than the zen. For a case where I needed to send frame perfect button inputs, this is better than the zen. I use the FGC2 to drop spells and items that cannot usually be dropped in Dark Souls Remastered. I cannot do this with the zen because the PS5 will not receive inputs with 10ms button press and 10ms waits. So glad this works on the FGC2!

I was looking for something of quality to help me play with my alternative controllers on the PS 5. This thing does the trick, its compatible with all the controllers I throw at it. It has no issue connecting to non PS 5 controllers and does well. It's easy to use as well. Just plug and play.

I was hesitant to buy this, as I wasn't sure if it would work for my needs. I had read various reports online saying it did work, it didn't work, so I wasn't sure. But I bought it hoping to use an older controller with the PS5, and to my excitement, it [mostly] does work! Unfortunately, the controller I'm using will randomly disconnect with the adapter flashing red and blue momentarily, but it is not officially on the supported controller list, and as stated it's older, so I can't get too upset. The fact that a gamepad that was manufactured before the PS5 existed even works a little bit is a great achievement!Not only that, but to my absolute surprise, it even works with the Switch exclusive Hori Mario Kart steering wheel! I absolutely didn't expect it to work, but I was blown away playing Gran Turismo Sport with a Mario Kart steering wheel and pedals! That wheel had zero connectivity with the PS5 prior, and thus far using the wheel with the adapter has not faced the same connectivity issues as the aforementioned controller!I can't speak on how good it is for fighting tournaments, as I'm not involved with those. I just bought it to casually play retro games with a retro-inspired controller, and I'm very happy with the results!

This thing is amazing. I have plugged my Haute42/Cosmox Series X board into the adapter and then into the PS5. I put the input mode to X input. And it works perfectly with any game. I have my analog stick module in the board and everything just works. Highly recommended if you need to play any game with any controller. Fight boards as well.

I bought this solely to use for this controller (best controller ever made) and it works perfectly fine.You can’t turn on/off the PS5 with this thing attached, and your controller wired….even in rest mode. So, if you want to get rid of your DualSense completely, you will have to hit the power button on your PS5 every time you want to play it. This shouldn’t be too much of a big deal for PS5 owners tho, because the DualSense battery life is so horrendous, their controller is usually plugged in or on a charging dock close to the console.Everything worked as intended, but I did have to do the update like it said, otherwise it wasn’t being recognized by the PS5.The installer is available for both Mac and Windows, I updated it on Mac and it took less than 2 minutes for the entire process to download/install/flash firmware/etc.would recommend to anyone who can’t stand how terribly Sony flubbed on the PS5 DualSense controllers….those things are terrible.
