Got one in the toolbox I keep under the hood of my work truck. So far, no mice have made a home in any area I keep these. Scent lasts about a month, so expect to keep getting them. This is our go-to mouse repellent. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome as a DETERRENT! *by on Reviewed in the United States April 9, 2026* This is a great product! I put them in my (mostly) finished basement because I no longer have a cat. I think the key with pest control is getting ahead of the problem. I know that in the past I've had mouse activity so I put these pouches in the boiler room (warm- where there was prior pest traffic) and some closet and a sliding glass door track. The smell is strong at first (sort of WAKES you up), but it's actually pleasant. Mice have a very delicate sense of smell so I think even a whiff throws them off. If they can't smell = they can't eat so they go somewhere else. With that said if you have an infestation this probably wouldn't be helpful; maybe combined with traps it would help a little but not a solution. This is a deterrent not a solution. I've noticed less spiders too! It just makes it unpleasant for their little noses. It worked in warding off rodents for a day or so but we were using it directly in an open garden and I suspect the effectiveness wore off after a couple of days. That or the rodents grew accustomed to it.
