Cannot speak for anyone else's results, but this worked great for increasing my low vitamin D levels from the low 30s to the 50s. Taken with K2 helps with absorption. This was an alternative to taking a doctor prescribed D2 (plant based), that did not give this kind of results even after being on it for 2 years.
