Just plain WORKS!
I had been looking at mouth pieces for a while, and my wife said "do something!". I am now on my third one of these and it flat works.I liked the design of this: its obvious how it works, it's fairly small, and it's not too expensive. It took me all of 2-3 days to get used to it, and it has almost eliminated my snoring. I've gotten to the point where I notice quickly if I forget to wear it.I did notice some tooth pain and what felt like slight movement early on. That has stopped. I also sometimes mouth-breath more which dries out my mouth quite badly, so I keep a glass of water next to the bed. Another small issue is that the molded inserts will detach from the base. A little super glue gel and that's fixed.I run spacer #2 and it works great for me. I'm 5' 11" and 190 so not obese. Highly recommend you try this if you snore.

Wish it was reliable
It worked great the first two nights then I went to adjust the spacing and the little nubs that hold it on broke off on one of the sides of the lower mold. Now the item is unusable as it won't hold on one side.

Very uncomfortable and painful
I would give a -0 if I could. This product is very uncomfortable and painful. It’s not worth $89 to be honest it’s not worth even $10. Don’t waste your money.

This device works!
This is not Sally , it’s her husband reviewing this. I’ve been on a CPAP machine since 2000, suffering from sleep apnea and heavy snoring. I can’t get thru the night without that machine. Or so I thought. For about a year I’ve been aware of devices that move your lower jaw forward to open the airway down your throat, but I knew a doctor would charge tons of money to create a personal device to do that. And then there was the gamble of it not working after spending the money. Recently I started looking on Amazon for these devices to see if I might find a good one. I read review after review and finally settled on this ZQuiet Advance. There are four settings to choose from in how far forward to move your jaw and when you get it, you must heat it up and then insert it into your mouth to make a personalized impression. That part was a bit tricky, but I got it done. I chose the number 3 setting as I’m a heavy snorer. It works!! Yes, it’s a little difficult to get used to; a bit cumbersome in the mouth, but now after two weeks of use, I’m pretty used to it. And it is so wonderful to be able to get a good night’s sleep without that mask, hose, and rushing noise all night long. And my wife loves it, too.I will note that after I molded it and used it for a couple of nights I had to take an x-acto knife to some of the material that squished out, as it was pressing on some of my gums a bit. But now this thing is working great; I’m getting a good night’s sleep every night. And I’m looking forward to traveling this summer without dragging that blasted machine with me and worrying about distilled water everywhere I go!This probably isn’t for everyone; some people may not like the thing in their mouth. As for my jaw, it does take several minutes in the morning for my jaw to realign, but it’s fine. If you have TMJ, this probably isn’t for you.

Works exactly as I'd hoped. I sleep much better with this.
I was skeptical but also somewhat desperate for good sleep so I decided to give it a try. The first night I could only stand to have it in for an hour or so. The next night I wore it for a few hours and then took it out. My jaw was tired but I expected all of this from reading other reviews. By the 4th night, I no longer had any discomfort and could wear it through the night. I immediately noticed that I felt much more rested after only 7 hours of sleep. Normally I'm still groggy even after 9.Then I tried the snore app that records snoring. For the first time ever, it scored a big ZERO!I also understand from reading other reviews that everyone's mouth shape is different, so it might not work for everyone, but after being patient for a few days I did get used to it. It's very comfortable now and I sleep very well. I'll be ordering another one when this one wears out.

Uncomfortable
This seems to help but it is uncomfortable. They need to design it for better comfort. It’s hard to wear it for more than a couple of hours.

Excellent Dental Device
When you first get this product you will need to mold it to your own teeth. This involves putting it in a post of hot water for 3.5 minute. Of course it includes video and well written instructions. Once it has been molded to your own bite though it's ready to go. I use the other Z Quiet products (size 1) and know it takes a little getting used to. My first night it was in for half the night till I switched it out. Overall I love this thing and it definitely works. I will be using it all night as I adjust to it. No more CPAP to worry about!!!!!!!!!!

Keeps mouth open and causes dry mouth.
The hing adjustment is weak. One of the tabs broke in the first adjustment. As far as fit and function, it mostly seems to keep the mount open and causes dry mouth.
