I had high expectations for the DJI Mic 2 Mini, but my experience — especially with an iPhone — was extremely disappointing: The mic doesn't work at all without the receiver: You cannot record any audio unless the receiver is physically connected to the phone, which defeats the purpose of a "Mini" wireless mic. Very poor sound quality with the receiver: I tested the mic using the default iPhone Camera app, and the audio was disappointing — unclear, noisy, and simply unusable for professional content. Severe connection issues: It takes a lot of time and multiple attempts to get the mic or receiver recognized by the phone. Sometimes I have to unplug and replug several times just to make it work. This makes it completely unreliable in fast-paced shooting situations. Updated to the latest firmware — no improvement. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this product for iPhone users at this time. The audio quality is bad, the connection is unstable, and overall, it's not worth the price.

Very useful and small which can help you to put inside the motorcycle helmet UPD: stopped charging after 2 weeks. Don’t buy it

Very bad experience

As a content creator, finding reliable and high-quality audio equipment is paramount, and the DJI Mic Mini truly delivers. This compact wireless microphone system is an absolute game-changer for anyone serious about their audio, especially vloggers and those who record on the go. The unboxing reveals everything you need in the individual version, from the sleek transmitter and receiver to the handy carrying pouch and essential cables. The ease of use and remarkable portability are immediately apparent. What truly stands out are the clever design and features. The microphone's (transmitter) design is excellent, with convenient charging points, an LED emitter, and a versatile clip that even includes a strong magnet for alternative attachment. The receiver's functionality is equally intuitive, offering various connectivity options and straightforward controls. Setting it up is a breeze, and updating the firmware through the DJI app is a simple process. The real highlight, however, is the superior audio quality. I've tested the DJI Mic Mini extensively against my phone's built-in microphone, a Blue Snowball, and even in outdoor settings with a camera's microphone, both with and without the included wind dissipator. The difference is night and day; the audio is consistently crisp and clear. The noise cancellation modes (basic and strong) are incredibly effective, showcasing the microphone's ability to deliver clean audio even in challenging environments. In my experience, the DJI Mic Mini is highly recommended for its portability, outstanding audio quality, reliable wireless capabilities, and broad compatibility across multiple devices. I've found that using the receiver generally provides the best audio quality, though direct Bluetooth connection is also a convenient option. With an impressive 10 hours of battery life, this mic is ready for long recording sessions. If you're looking for a compact, high-performance wireless microphone system that will significantly elevate your content, the DJI Mic Mini is an excellent investment. It's a top contender in its class and an essential tool for any serious content creator.

Works really well. Quality of the mic is great. Will need different converters if you don’t have USB C access.

Picked this up to keep my audio kit light for daily shooting, and the tiny form factor is easily its best feature. The transmitter is so light at points I completely forgot it was there (I actually almost lost it on my trip with some friends). Pairing with a camera was super simple and quick. Audio quality is clean and full for talking head shots and vlogs. I used it with friends on a recent trip for an interview for fun and the auto-limiting feature actually works well to prevent harsh clipping when you speak up suddenly. Battery life easily lasts through an afternoon of shooting, and the connection stays solid even if you walk away a good chunk of distance without direct line of sight. The audio quality can easily beat most in-body microphones of cameras. Solid value if you want reliable audio without the bulk, and if price is a big factor. Another huge plus was versatility, I used the transmitter on my own camera setup, but whenever we needed a mic for my friend's DJI Osmo Pocket 3, it was seamless to hand it over to him and swap back and forth depending on who needed good audio at that moment.
