You can cut them to fit with a utility knife and they look so nice when installed. I bought the black marble and used them as a hearth tile for a faux fireplace and they were just the thing. The colour was spot on and now looks as if I have a stone hearth. I liked the fact that I could buy just a small quantity as I only needed a few to do the job. The tiles are thick enough to be durable, but thin enough to be easy to handle.
