Lunch Wore a Speedo: The Nineteenth Sherman's Lagoon Collection (Volume 19) Paperback – October 7, 2014

It's a Shermans Lagoon. It is funny as always. I love these "people" and Jim Toomey is, i believe the type of person that makes you think, "man what is wrong with this dude. I love it." I came across Shermans Lagoon by mistake and quickly realized the only mistake was not coming across it much, much sooner. I immediatley ordered every Shermans Lagoon i could from issue one to current. For the record i am a big Calvin & Hobbes fan, Foxtrot, For better For worse, Citizen Dog and several others fan and i rate Shermans Lagoon right up there with all the aforementioned (and nonmentioned). Jim Toomey, thank you very much for the laffs.

LOVE SHERMAN'S LAGOON!!!!!! When my brother was posted over seas in Baghdad and Afganistan during the war, I would include several cartoon anthologies in all the care packages of cookies etc that we sent him. He loved the books and one of his Sergeants was "addicted" to Sherman's Lagoon!!!!!

Our family is really enjoying this book. I like the strip Sherman's Lagoon so I bought this book. The only problem is that almost every time I want to read it, one of my girls already has it.

Once again Jim Toomey has captured the essence of Sherman and his friends in this latest edition/compilation of the cartoon based in Sherman's Lagoon. I have every one in the collection and this 19th issue is every bit as funny as the first and previous.

The on-going shenanigan's of the sea creatures in Kapupu Lagoon is superb. Jim Toomey does a fantastic job with Sherman, Hawthorne, Megan, Fillmore and the others in giving them our everyday problems and seeing them from a different point of view.

A must have for any Sherman's Lagoon collection.

I love these comics, they make me happy. I have many of the books.

There is no funnier strip than Sherman's Lagoon. I own every single edition of this series. I hope that this author never retires.

How does Jim Toomey come up with this series! I love how he takes the issues of marriage and everyday life and brings it to life in an ordinary Shark named Sherman, his wife Megan, and his multitude of friends found in his Lagoon. Keep it up Jim! I can't wait for more!

If you like or love Sherman these compilations are a must, as always the cast is all there and it is very very enjoyable.Long may Mr Toomey continue to be a cartoonist.
