With staining and taking breaks bc of work, life, 3 kids - it took about 5 days to get them hung. We did have to purchase a solid piece of wood for the rail to go on - that was not included. We stained that as well and it looks so good! My husband did a great job. He is an engineering perfectionist and even he was impressed.
