You need 4 AA batteries and an A23 battery, which most people do not have readily available. For $88 they should have included the A23 battery. It’s a cool open style icebox for chilling drinks on ice. It is not too deep at 5” deep, so you have to be careful the bottles won’t fall out if placed on top of an ice base. The texture of the wavy plastic sides adds interest to this fun light show. There are a variety of colors and light pattern options to choose from. It’s definitely a hit at a party since it puts on its own cool light show. It also did not sweat inside the boat, I haven’t used it outdoors as it’s just too hot in Florida and the ice would melt too fast. It’s not an insulated cooler nor is electricity used to keep it cool. It is one molded piece of plastic so it shouldn’t leak. It was bigger than I expected and holds several bottles and cans. I took off a star for the high price tag and no batteries. I do wish there was a plug in option.

I absolutely loved this thing!!! I was looking for a pretty wine bucket. This was so different than what I had in mind but when I got it it was beautiful! Perfect for a party!!!! Fit ice and a few bottles of wine which was perfect! the lights were awesome!!! Worth the money 100%
