I’ve been using this camera for about a month now, and while there are definitely some things to like, it falls a bit short in areas that matter to me. Setup was straightforward, and I appreciated how truly wireless the system is — no drilling, no wires, and the rechargeable battery makes it easy to move around as needed. The video quality is solid, even at night, and the two-way audio feature is handy for quick conversations or warnings at the door. I also liked the AI detection, which seems to do a pretty good job distinguishing between people, cars, and pets. That said, there are some limitations. The biggest one is the recording length — each event only captures about 20 seconds, and then the camera goes into a sort of cooldown where it won’t record again for a full minute. That gap is frustrating, especially if something important is happening outside. I’ve already missed parts of deliveries and visitors because of it. Battery life is also not as long as advertised. I’m getting maybe two to three weeks between charges, and that’s with moderate activity. If you place this in a high-traffic area, expect to charge more frequently. Overall, it’s not a bad option if you’re looking for an affordable, wireless security camera with decent features. But be aware of the recording limitations and battery trade-offs before you buy. It works, but not without a few compromises.
