Rada Cutlery Turnover (R128), Silver

I really like this! It was a little pricey compared to ones I've seen it the big box stores but the quality is far better. The working edge is thin and sharp. It's easy to scrape your pan or to get underneath cookies or eggs without breaking them. It has washed up like a dream in my dishwasher. I've been happy with every Rada product I've purchased, but appreciate that this does not have an aluminum that discolors in the dishwasher. Even if it did, I'd buy it again because I like it so much. Only thing I'd change is maybe make the handle a bit longer.

I have been looking for a thin sturdy turner to remove cookies from the cookie sheet ever since my 40 year old ekco small spatula broke. I have tried a lot of different ones but most are too thick and shove the warm cookie instead of getting under it. This one is great. I do wish it was 1/2 inch less in width, but it does a great job. This company makes a much smaller turner but while I have one it was too small for most cookies.

I did not realize how wide and squat this spatula would be, it is shorter than it looks in the picture. This is a good thing, it allows for better control of the item being manipulated and as long as you are not using in a campfire setting, a longer handle would be of no benefit. Its width is also quite useful as it allows me to scoop up an entire egg omelet tort and flip it in my 9" cast iron pan. I can also easily flip eggs when making over medium as long as they don't slide around too much (bacon fat makes for slippery cast iron). The blade is very strong (yet somewhat flexible) and can be used to cut items already in the pan (hot dogs, and the like). Overall I am very happy with this item and don't mind at all that the handle is now a dull gray, at least it has a good grippable surface that is still easy to clean. Further, this is a very environmentally friendly product if you consider the end-of-life state in which the items can be remade into new products easily and relatively inexpensively. There will not be some bits of plastic floating around for the next 300 years after this product eventually gives up the ghost.

My old spatula snapped in half so I got this because it seems sturdy. So far it's holding up well. If I could change anything I might add a couple inched to the handle and round the corners a bit but these aren't really flaws, just preferences. very nice.

Have fallen in love with rada products. They are well made and last plan on swapping out all my utensils over time

Bought for granddaughter as part of a Christmas gift. She loves them. The black handles are best if washed in a dishwasher as the silver handles reacts badly with the dishwasher detergent. I have such a set but still use them. I think these spatulas as great. Have had mine for twenty years.

excellent product used on the bbq was great in kithen also
