Just works !
Works with my existing dome light. VERY bright, generates heat quickly. I bought it as a backup heat source, so I don't know how long it will last. It is at a good price. I wouldn't use it with animals stressed out by light, and would recommend ceramic heat bulbs instead.

Blew out within 4 months
Damn thing blew out after 4 months. I use a surge protector with a built in digital timer to turn on/off the lights on my breaded dragon tank. I woke up this morning and the bulb was blown. No power surges, no power on and off in the house, its just the power strip that its directly plugged into. For the price of the bulb and the Brand, Im disappointed in how fast this thing blew.

Works good - plan on replacing eventually
I use 2 of these for my BP's 5x2x2 enclosure hooked up to a thermostat during the day. They work great, but one give out over a year of use (the one on his colder side) The other one is going strong still. Keeps temps regulated pretty good as long as you have something on top to enclose some heat. Decently bright. And for the price point, well worth it.

Great for my res
Got this for my red eared slider, I chose this bulb in particular because of the brand and the dimming ability. I’m tired of my heat bulbs burning out after just 2 months (I have the correct bulb housing), so I went with a brand name I trust instead of the generic ones that are cheaper. I trust the Arcadia brand for the quality, and this light is working, and functions with my dimmer. It works well at keeping the perfect temperature for my res, and light for her to bask under. I’m hoping this bulb will last more than a few months! I ‘m only on week 1 so far, it’s working well with my dimmer, and still working! So far, so good. I’ll update if anything happens, fingers crossed it nothing happens though.

Never buy this, it burnt out after less than 5 minutes. At first it didn’t even turn on, and then it burnt out. HORRIBLE!
