I chose to purchase this product not only to maintain gut health, but also to help regulate my sugar cravings. I didn’t notice any difference for the first few weeks but I stuck with it. The effect has been gradual but now into the second bottle I realize I’m really not much interested in sweets. It snuck up on me and I love it. It took a few weeks but I feel like my metabolism reset. The green capsules are ¾” in long and are, well, typical capsules to swallow. Take them with meals. If I didn’t, I would get an upset stomach. Ultimately, I am losing weight. I really don’t have energy or mood swings and can recognize real hunger signals. Keep up your exercise. Make calories count. Is it worth the money? If you’re in the same situation, it is worth a try.

I’ve been using Stanis labs Akermansia daily for about six months now. Seems to help as a pre/probiotic would in my system. Helps to keep my stomach in check. Gut health has been better and more consistent. I’ve gone through three bottles now and am getting ready to order my forth.

Um....I was not expecting such a noticeable result from using these. Four months ago, I researched natural methods of increasing GLP1's in the body, and Akkermansia popped up as one that could make a difference. I followed the directions and took them with food 2-3 times a day, and within 48 hours I noticed that something sweet I was eating didn't taste as good. I thought that was weird but didn't immediately connect it with these. I noticed that sweet things continued to taste and sound unappetizing, and my daily snacky "food noise" had decreased by about 80%. I've followed my appetite and eat when I am hungry. I've focussed on eating fibrous foods 1-2 times per day to support gut health, and high protein foods multiple times a day consistently. The result has been that I do not feel as hungry as I did before, my stomach empties slower and I feel full longer, and I eat less food overall. I've been dropping weight uniformly on my body. I'm sure some portion of that is decreased inflammation, which feels great, but I can also feel a reduction of fat in several areas including my stubborn areas. I have not experienced weight loss this easy and pain-free, ever. I either have to kill it with the gym and calorie restriction, or I accidentally lose weight due to periods of high anxiety. This has come easy, without the anxiety or hard work. I am definitely a fan!! I never knew managing my weight could be this easy. I have genetic potential for type 2 diabetes, and have made health and nutrition a priority in my life because of that, but sometimes struggle to do so with the time constraints of a busy single mom. I'm very grateful for this product!

I find this probably the most effective probiotic that I've ever tried. I'm always a skeptic when it comes to the efficacy of a product or supplement so this review comes from a very unbiased opinion. On day one, I took one capsule with water first thing in the morning before coffee or morning meds. After a short time, I felt some movement in my stomach and intestines. It wasn't uncomfortable, something was actually happening. This occured probably for the first week of me taking these. Then I felt a bit more energetic, my cravings for sugar lessened significantly. I didn't even realize how much I needed to work on my gut health. For a company to be so confident about their product, they stand behind it because it's EFFECTIVE After years of trying different brands, I'm ready to settle down with this one. It is a great value.
