Our cats love this food
Cats are notoriously picky about food and our cats are no exception, but they absolutely love the Halo foods, both canned and dry. I noticed a marked difference in the health of their coats when we switched to this food and they also have maintained a healthy weight. For feeding our two cats, this food is our first choice.

Some love it others not so much
2 of our cats love it and the 3rd thinks it’s ok (only ate half of his bowl). So tried Salmon and chicken flavors! Our stray guy ate the whole can of salmon! I like it as it looks moist and I didn’t have to add water as I do to others!

high quality food, but my cats aren't absolutely crazy about it (they will eat it, though)
I try to feed all of my cats wet food, but am not always successful. (Having had two cats with inflammatory bowel disease and seeing how much better wet food is for cats has been the motivation to at least try.) One of my current non-IBD cats prefers beef. She had been eating Merrick Cowboy Cookout but they changed the formula of that and it started making her throw up occasionally. So I went looking for an alternative.I have heard good things about the Halo brand so I decided to try it. I wish they had a plain beef version but the only variety I could find was beef and chicken. (As a side note -- I wish there were more single-protein cat foods, so that if another of my cats ever develops IBD, there are some proteins he or she hasn't had that I can experiment with for feeding purposes. So many cat foods with beef combine it with duck, venison, etc. -- I want to reserve these proteins for possible future use. At any rate, I figured beef and chicken was not a bad combination since all of my cats have had chicken before, so I wouldn't be putting anything "novel" off limits to them.)This is a pate-style food with some visually identifiable pieces of vegetable in it (mostly peas and carrots). I've offered it to my three non-IBD cats (this is not a suitable food for IBD cats due to the presence of chicken, although I do appreciate that it is grain free since cats' digestive systems cannot properly process grains). They have all sniffed at it. They have all eaten at least a little on different days. This, in itself, is worthy of a pretty high rating. But they don't love it and I occasionally find bits left in the bowl. So my search is probably not over yet. (For what it's worth, this has *not* made any of them throw up. So that's good. Also, the smell level is not too bad for wet cat food, and it's easy to clean the remnants out of the bowl.)I'd suggest trying a few cans first and seeing if your cat will eat this on more than one day, before committing to a whole case. If your cat likes it, it *is* a high quality food.

All three cats hate this Halo Holisitic Grain Free (chicken)
I've been trying to find better food choices for our three remaining cats since the eldest (17 years old) died the end of July. He had been diagnosed with diabetes in early July and went on expensive insulin & diet change but he never got better; he got worse. Our vet thinks he may have also had cancer. I didn't want him to suffer any more. He, and our other cats, had been eating Purina One Sensitive Systems (dry) and Friskies pate canned foods.Since then, I've been frantically trying to find better ingredients in cat foods and have tried several different brands that our cats won't eat (Nature's Balance, Nutro, Halo, Dr Elsey's, Purina Vet DM, Wellness Core, Instinct Ultimate, Blue Buffalo Wilderness). They were iffy with Wellness Core & Instinct Ultimate canned so I'm going to revisit those two, but trying Instinct Grain Free Original instead of the Ultimate....that's arriving tomorrow. The most recent "experiment" was this past weekend. I ordered & received 12 cans (3 oz) of this Halo Holistic Grain Free Natural Wet Cat Food for Adult Cats for our cats to try as a better ingredient option to Fancy Feast (they really like FF but the phosphorus % really is too high).I opened the first can two days ago and they won't touch it. They all sniff it and walk away. They don't even come back to it later. It's a very soft food, almost like baby food so I put one of the cans in the fridge overnight to see if they would eat it today (this sometimes works with very wet food) but they still won't eat it, not even when they're very hungry.....MORE $$ wasted.....on to the next brand.

Seems over processed
For an all-natural cat food, this seems very processed. That said, my cat LOVED it. I will keep it in my cupboard for those odd occasions when I run out of the tiki cat food.
