After my first use, my hair was soooo soft! I love it! However, use about a quarter size and then massage into hair. Leave for 20 minutes to an hour and wash hair at least 3 times. If you put too much, it'll take more than one day to wash out. If your hair still feels oily after drying, let your hair stay like that a couple days and then shampoo twice and it'll be fine. I will be using 2 times a month.

I was excited to get this product but was surprised it came in a plastic bottle instead of glass. The oil applies easily, absorbs quickly, and has a light scent like olive oil. I look forward to seeing how it works for my beard and scalp. I apply a few hours before showering and use the cap and applicator provided. I tried putting it on at night and washing it out in the morning, but my cap falls off and can get messy. So far, it feels nourishing, and I feel good recommending it!

I love cultural items and am loving that this is "authentic from Honduras" as the packaging says. I like to try other country's products. I like that the instructions on the box are still in English though. This batana oil is raw and organic which I like and the packaging it comes in is attractive, which I like as well. This would be great to include in a gift basket to someone. I love it!

Very pleased with this product. I'm working through the oil phases to get results on hair growth and training hour out of frequent updates, but I'm already noticing the shine after oil treatments are washed out.

I’ve been using batana oil for a couple of months and have experienced many benefits, including healthier, shinier-looking hair. While I haven’t seen noticeable hair growth yet, I know that natural products often require long-term use to achieve those results.Most of my experience with batana oil has been with creams or balms. The key difference with this product is that it’s a liquid oil. This is a huge advantage because liquid oil easily reaches the roots and scalp, unlike thicker cream products. I can simply flip the bottle over, apply it directly to my scalp, and massage it in.Another pleasant surprise is that the oil doesn’t solidify in colder temperatures, which makes it super convenient to use year-round.Overall, I’m very impressed and happy with this product. The price is fantastic, and a little goes a long way. I don’t plan to buy batana creams anymore—this liquid oil is now my go-to!

I'm not quite sure what to say about this since I got it for my husband--who has a bald spot--and he refuses to try it. I do not have a bald spot so I just use it for an occasional "hot oil treatment" on dry ends. It smells a bit strange to me, but that is probably normal and since I wash it out, it's fine. I don't really know whether it lives up to all the claims I have heard about Batana Oil or not, as my hair is waist length and quite full enough already.

Been using it on and off for few weeks though it’s suggested for daily use. It has no strong scent but does make hair greasy if put too much. When I used overnight, it soaked through the pillowcase so I have to put a towel on the pillow now. It does give a slick back style, too, if you want to give that look a try without using hair gel or product since this is more natural. It makes hair shiny and scalp healthy. Hair feels more dense and once washed off, it gives decent volume and hair feels healthier. Need to use this more regularly to see result of hair growth.

I had never heard of batana until recently and became curious, as I have been on a journey or restoring the health of my long hair and of my scalp. One of the ways I have been doing that is by applying oils to the lengths of my hair and then wearing a protective hair style (usually a braid) every day. I have been alternating different oils and this batana oil, and I am very pleased with the progress I am seeing! While I cannot determine that it is specifically or only the batana oil that has helped me see improvement, I definitely think it is part of the reason. I will say that I think this would be too heavy of an oil to apply for styling, at least for my hair. But applying it only to the lengths of my hair or to my scalp a few hours before showering works perfectly for me. Based upon my own personal experience and opinions, I have no complaints and feel confident recommending this product to others.
