Brilliant product and great value for money

Very accurate and well made and at a very reasonable price.

My laptop skills are not so good, but I've tried to present this review and the pics in some kind of logical order. I've included information about the rest of the kit because it all matters. So, here goes;# 1The product arrives intact, clean and well presented. Usually next day. It just shows the supplier cares about the product. Really good.#2Please note that these bolts are flat nocked [for all you need to know about nocks, and if they matter, you can look here http://www.bestcrossbowsource.com/crossbow-nocks]. To my mind these bolts are more versatile than many.#3For this review the range is 20yds. For targetting this is a good start range. It will show up any bends or deformities quite quickly. These YLAs performed very well. Please note IT IS ILLEGAL in the UK to use a crossbow for hunting purposes.#4For this we're using an Anglo Arms Jaguar Mk II crossbow with a pull of 175 lbs [that adds up to a rail force of about 90 fl/lbs, 240 fps, approximately 165 mph for the bolt which these take easy]#5Scope we're using is a basic red/green/blue dot [most mildot reticle scopes cannot tolerate the recoil and get knocked out of dial after one shot. A shooter will maybe blame the bolt. No blaming YLAs]#6 and #7THEY WORK. I'm not sponsored by YLA, and I've got misgivings about them, but they are straight shafted and will hit your target! Who cares about much anything else? Well .....#8, #9 and #10There's impact, penetration, durability. What do you want to explode? I tried an old roofing tile ... a very satisfying noise when it shatters, but [see #10] durability falls down after one shot, but roof tiles were not the intended target, I think.OVERALLThese bolts are well worth the money. I can't say "buy them!" because I've still only given 4/5 but then I'm really, really fussy. Nevertheless, overall, as one "backyarder" to another I do recommend them. You can fix them with an epoxy if need be for an extra couple of shots, they're weatherproof, clean up good and accept most types of interchangeable tip. I'm waiting on a few other suppliers' deliveries so there may be more to this, but I hope it helps. Meantime I'm around at [email protected]

Perfect for target shooting good value

The arrow flies well but at time of removing them from the target I lost 50% of the tips on the first use! as the fittings are not glued and they just come off.Not impressed

When I fired the arrow it broke at the top and just about took my eye out

Tried these bolt on some 18mm ply wood and they went straight through from 30 metres away....the heads could be fitting a bit better as the pull out of the shaft if the head is deep in a target,but for the money they’re good if you don’t mind loosing some and they are rather tough.
