Let me first start off by saying I have two Lincoln welders power MIG 255 and the weld pack 110 volt excellent welders I bought this so I can learn TIG welding we'll talk about the mig part first this thing lays beads so much better the arc is so stable and smooth I prefer it now over either one of my Lincolns as a matter of fact I gave my neighbor the well pack because this is so much better Even beginners can do a good job and if you're experience this is a real treat to weld with now the Tig my first time within six tries on steel I have not tried aluminum I am nailing it is lays beautiful welds it's really quite easy I thought this was going to be difficult aluminum may be don't know I did YouTube several tig welding videos so I would set things up and do it right and know what I was doing for the money I would highly recommend you getting one I did buy the four-year extended warranty now in my opinions this machine is not something you would use industrial and run the hell out of every day I don't think it's going to hold up for that but for the weekend warrior this is the only welder you need I promise you'll be happy with it I live in Phoenix and use it for a lot of little jobs and I can see me using this thing a lot and actually enjoying it more it's lighter easier to move around I hope this helps some of you on making your decision

Powerful and compact machine. Welds great recommend powering it on a 220. Has a lot of nice features especially for the price.👌

Runs solid sticks welds. Haven’t tried any the rest yet but it works great.

The yeswelder 165 is alright, definitely not a miller or Lincoln but it does its job pretty well for the price. I don’t have any gas right now so can’t speak on the mig side but flux core runs smooth on 110 haven’t tried it on 220. Stick does not like 110v make sure you have a 220 outlet or an adapter. As soon as I switched over to 220 it ran a 3/32 7018 like a charm. Small and compact easy to carry around just wish the leads were a bit longer.

Machine works good, but design flaw. the welder gun where cable connects breaks and cosntantly stops and weld stop and weld. the screwing hose design is not working I like the Brand but the mqchine is not good dont buy 165DS the wotst machIne I ever own, they say keep the machine. The machine is broken what would I do with this broken machine, then I asked for a recomendation and gave me a recomendation that is unavailable yes they gave me the money back but really bad experience.

Wow this welder is freaking incredible for its size! I have welded for years with various Lincoln and miller machines and this thing is just as good if not better. I have only used the stick. I’ll be trying the mig gun later this week for body repairs! Do not hesitate in buying this machine well worth it!!!

Best welder i’ve used in a long time! Trust me, it’s worth the low cost. Has some features that my expensive welder doesn’t have. Lot of options for the picky folks.
