Works Great but is Too Generous
I got this for my desk in work in response to concerns that a candy jar was unsanitary. It looks good, was easy to put together and has worked fine EXCEPT that if you put standard M&Ms in it they will come out WAY to fast. I think this device is really meant for bigger items like the nuts in the example picture. Once people learned how to use it, things went better, but every new user ends up spilling M&Ms on the floor. Next I will try Peanut M&Ms to see if they work any better. But just to be clear, the unit is fine, but I personally suggest not putting regular M&Ms in it.

Mouse feeder
Snack spout was a great idea at first! It worked great, sickness was cut down and the peanut consumption was up! But there is a fatale flaw to this great idea. The spout up to the hopper of peanuts is big enough for mice to crawl up into. Needless to say there was more then bargained for coming out when the spout was turned!

Works as advertised.
I was hoping it was a little more durable. Plastic and very light weight. My special needs son knocks it over when trying to despence nuts.

CHEAP MESSY USELESS
This product is cheap cheap cheap. The canister does not fit square on top as shown in the picture, so we tried using the canister that came with it instead. That worked, but kind of defeats the purpose. It is also MESSY!! You would have to crouch down below the counter to see exactly where the spout is (open/closed/somewhere in between), and then the nuts come spilling out behind where you would expect them. That's fine for those o us that work here everyday, but not for visitors. We are using disposable cups for the nuts and in spite of that, you are left with nut dust all over the counter. Awful product - definitely returning!

Loved the idea, but people don't know how to use it. Would not recommend.
This product was brand new with the original directions. Happy about that. Thanks.Loved the idea. Loved the concept of people not touching items with their dirty hands. Just wish it worked out better.Thought it would be a great idea for the Christmas Family buffet table, but was NOT a hit at our Christmas. But people don't know how to use this thing. They never turn knob all the way around each time. Some would turn it just until they got some product and leave it in the draining position.Or some would leave it open just past where product drains out.Had to show everybody how to use this item, but to no avail. Didn't make any difference. We ended up turning the products over, taking off the dispenser and leaving them in the jars themselves. What a waste of time. Still was a mess each time we went back to the table. We had it working properly at home prior to going to Christmas with no problems here.Has cracks where bugs can get inside. It is not totally sealed, see in the photo where the spout comes down from the jar.Not something I would want to put out as a candy dispenser on a daily basis.Loved that it comes apart to be cleaned. Loved that you can just swap out with new products easily. Just not worth the trouble

Works Great Large nuts not a problem!
Works Great!!! I bought this and planned to use it with Kirkland/Costco Mixed nuts. I didn't read the entire listing and did not realize it comes with an empty jar that was a pleasant surprise. The 40oz container mixed nuts from Costco screws right on with no problem. Those nuts contain brazil nuts which have no problem feeding through that should give you an idea on how big of items you can feed through this.Love it going to get a couple more.

germ free solution and portion control
This works as advertised; it's easy to assemble and use. After testing one out, I purchased three more for a fully germ free snack cupboard. It takes a little practice to get the portion you want; one turn will provide just under a 1/4 cup of shelled pistachios/peanuts or roughly 4 whole cashews. Note that walnut halves are too big to work, so you'll want to get walnut pieces if you plan to use this.

Great for work
Great for work :) A small suggestion, the knob is hollow and causes 80% of the clogs, covering it(the empty space in the knob) with a piece of light cardboard fixes the issue.Seems like a simple fix for manufacturing. Also, with the hope of improving a great product, I would recommend having the knobs need to be returned to the up position to refill, in some way signified.
