Secure reliable stabilization
Strong secure stabilization is what this item provides. Very pleased. Much more secure than others I have tried. My Urologist uses these also. It also stays firm and reliable longer than others. Hence worth any extra cost if any when compared to others.

Engineered perfectly!
If you have a suprapubic or any similar arrangement, this is absolutely the only stabilizing device that really works. The engineering in this device is brilliant and covers all the bases for a medical device. Do not consider any catheter stabilizing device that encircles your thigh because it will interfere with the natural flow of blood and lymph fluid. I place a new one every two or three weeks and I alternate between left and right thigh placement, giving the skin some healing time. One thing I’ve learned through decades of experience with these devices is never shave your leg hair before placement because it leaves no way for new hair growth, causing ingrown hairs. Use the skin prep exactly as directed by the instructions, and do it quickly because it dries very fast once you rip the package open.

NEW TEDDY BEAR DESIGN IS TERRIBLE!
I WOULD HAVE GIVEN ZERO STARS BUT THAT WAS NOT AN OPTION. ONE STAR IS GENEROUS. I've ordered these many times. They usually arrive as advertised (square with slightly rounded edges). The ones I received this time came in four separate shipments, are much smaller & shaped like a teddy bear (see image) . They didnt stick. I've used 3 in 10 days. They are expensive but the old design was worth it. I will not be ordering these via amazon again, and caution anyone else not to order them. $30 per week to stabilize my mothers catheter is obscene. I truly hope they go back to the old design. These are crap & a huge rip off.

Best catheter stabilizer, but too pricey.
Easy to apply and remove. Holds catheter line firmly. Removes easily with alcohol. Costs more than alternatives.

Amost perfect track record
Out of 12+ of these Statlocks I've used, one had a defective lock and kept popping open, so I had to discard it and try another. Otherwise, these Statlocks provide secure connections and dependable support for about 7-12 days of washing and wearing.
