A Lot of Lavender Seeds with Helpful Growing Information
I ordered these English lavender seeds because I would like to add more lavender around my property. Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing a pretty intense summer heat wave, so I am going to wait until the weather is more suitable before attempting to plant them. Because of that, I have not opened any of the individual seed packets. I would rather leave them sealed and properly stored than open them simply for the sake of a review and potentially compromise seeds that I may not be able to plant for a while. This set includes five individually packaged 2.5-gram packets of English lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), with approximately 2,200 seeds per packet. That works out to approximately 11,000 seeds total. The listing identifies them as non-GMO heirloom seeds. I really like having five separate packets rather than all 11,000 seeds in one large package. I can open only what I am ready to use while leaving the remaining packets sealed for later. The packaging is one of the things that impressed me most. These aren't just generic envelopes with a plant name printed on them. The back contains a surprising amount of useful information, including instructions for starting the seeds indoors or directly sowing them outside, a planting-season map, soil temperature information, watering and sunlight guidance, spacing, planting depth, and a QR code for a more detailed online growing guide. The listing also states that the envelopes are designed to protect the seeds from sunlight and moisture. Something else I appreciate is that the packet doesn't make lavender sound easier to germinate than it actually is. It is clearly labeled "Hard to Grow," and the back specifically recommends cold stratification by placing the seeds on a wet paper towel and refrigerating them for four weeks. I appreciate having that information right on the package rather than finding out after an unsuccessful first attempt. The listing states that the seeds are sourced from domestic suppliers and farmers, tested and packaged in the company's Florida facility, and have a tested germination rate of over 90%. It also says the sealed seeds can remain viable for up to two years. That longer storage period is particularly useful to me since the current weather may delay when I actually start planting. Obviously, I cannot personally comment on germination yet, and I don't think it would be fair to claim anything about how well they grow until I have actually planted them. For now, though, I am very pleased with what I received. There is a generous quantity of seeds, they are divided among five individually sealed packets, and the packaging provides much more useful growing information than I normally see on a packet of seeds. Once our weather becomes more cooperative, I am looking forward to getting these started.

A Generous Quantity of Lavender Seeds From a Promising Supplier
When it comes to gardening, I think the quality and sourcing of seeds are especially important. You can put plenty of time and effort into growing something, but if the seeds aren't viable, none of that matters. That's why I appreciate that these lavender seeds are sourced in the USA and come from a supplier that seems to take quality and germination rates seriously. Having a reliable source for seeds makes a difference, whether you're growing flowers, vegetables, herbs, or anything else. The packaging is nicely done, with five individual packets containing a generous quantity of seeds. I particularly like having them divided into separate packets, which makes it convenient to plant in stages, use them in different areas of the garden, or save some for another growing season. Everything is nicely presented, and the included growing guidance is another welcome touch. I've always liked lavender, especially for its beautiful flowers and wonderful fragrance, and these are a great option for expanding the amount growing around the yard and garden. As with any seeds, following the growing instructions and planting at the appropriate time of year for your climate is important. Overall, this seems like a good-quality product from a promising supplier, with a generous quantity of seeds and thoughtful packaging.

Lots of healthy seeds!
I haven’t planted these yet, so I can’t speak to the germination rate just yet, but so far I’m happy with what I received. There are a lot of seeds included, which I really like because it gives me plenty of chances if some don’t take. I’m keeping the seeds in the fridge for a little while to get them prepped before planting. I live in a tropical environment, so I’m definitely crossing my fingers that I can get these English lavender seeds to grow! I’m excited to give them a try and will update my review once I’ve planted them and see how they do. There are so many seeds included that I think these are a really good value. The seeds look clean and healthy and feel like good-quality seeds. I’m happy with the quantity and packaging, and I like having plenty to work with while I figure out what works best in my climate. Now I’m just hoping I can actually get lavender to grow in the tropics! I’m excited to give it a shot and see what happens.

I Have Big Plans for These… Assuming I Can Keep Them Alive
I Have Big Plans for These… Assuming I Can Keep Them Alive 😂 I love lavender, so getting five packets with this many seeds feels like a great value. I’m planning to grow these at home, and I like having enough seeds that I can experiment with different spots and growing methods without feeling like every single seed has to succeed. The packaging is nice, and having the seeds divided into individual packets also makes them easier to store and plant in batches instead of opening one enormous bag. Pros Five individual seed packets. Generous amount of seeds for the price. Plenty for multiple planting attempts or locations. Can be grown for the flowers, fragrance, or dried lavender. Individual packets make storage easier. Nice option for anyone wanting to start a larger lavender planting. Cons Lavender can take patience to germinate. Starting from seed takes considerably longer than buying established plants. A huge seed count sounds exciting until you realize you absolutely do not need 11,000 lavender plants. 😂 Overall: I’m excited about these. There are enough seeds here that I can experiment, inevitably make a few questionable gardening decisions, and still have plenty left to try again. If even a fraction of these become healthy lavender plants, I'll consider this a win.

Confirmed lavender seeds!
These seed packets were a great value for the money and I was impressed at how many seeds were included in this purchase. I don’t have a formal germination rate, but we did have luck growing lavender! The seeds appeared fresh and not dried out or cracked. The plants are just seedlings, but so far they appear to be healthy and growing. I used a plant checker app and it came back with a match for lavender. I would recommend this brand of seeds. These seeds do not like a lot of water and they like sandy soil that drains well. The seeds took a long time to sprout, so be patient. Very patient. The plants also need a sunny spot.
