Compact Styler Detangling Hairbrush

This is my second time buying this brush and I absolutely love it! It’s compact and super easy to carry around. It detangles my hair really well, even though my hair has been bleached and tends to get tangled easily. The only downside is that it’s a bit tricky to clean, but overall I’m really happy with it!

I've been using it for years now and it still has all its bristles and works all the same. It's really easy to get loose hair out of. It's my go-to hairbrush that's gotten me out of a lot of sticky situations with knots. I do find that if it catches in my hair it's easy to drop it when you don't expect the resistance, but it sorts my hair out as well as my 2B curly haired friend's too. Doesn't hurt since you don't need to pull nearly as hard to loosen tangles. I have straight hair, but some of it is bleaches which makes it tangle more, so this has been fantastic.

I'm a little paranoid when it comes to my hair which is thinning but very long so I'm as gentle to it as I can be. I only wash it once a week, never use heat tools, sleep with a satin bonnet/head scarf and using several different hair brushes including some that were quite expensive. My hair tangles so easily, I can brush one side of the hair switch to do the other but already the first half is tangle just from moving it. I've had a tangle tweezer in the past as I bout the original one when it VERY first came out. I enjoyed the original however I found the bristles bent fairly quickly. My biggest issue was that it would constantly fly out of my hand especially as my hair is so long and it drove me mad. So much so that I stopped using it and moved onto other brushes. However when this one, the elite, was reccomended to me I thought I'd give a tangle teezer a second chance and I am so glad I did. In the hand it feels like it is so much sturdier and a higher quality and the rounded shape fit into the hand so much better than the original and hugs the curve pf your head too which really helps for giving a scalp stimulating massage which by the way this brush is AMAZING for. The bristles are rounded and not at all scratchy which means it doesn't irritate my scabby patches of psoriasis that are dotted around here and there. One of the things I love about tangle teezer style brushes is that they're so much easier to clean. One of my other brushes is use (that i LOVE and highly reccomend; the cantu detangling bristle brush for thick hair) is a nightmare to clean. Because I have 2 cats, one of which is a very floofy Ragdoll I get so much fluff and fuzz in my hair and that quickly builds up on my brushes even though I remove hair from my brushes every time I use them. It takes forever to pick out the fuzz from the bristles. With this tangle teezer however it is so much easier because of it being plastic it is so simple and quick to clean I just run it under the tap with a small amount of shampoo and use a soft tooth brush to thoroughly clean between bristles and then simply rinse. Done in 30seconds. It gently detangles my knotty hair and the amount of hair I lose when I brush is so much less than any other brush I use and that makes a big difference to me as my hair falls easily due to lupus and pcos. Have one of these for myself already as have long thick and perpetually knotty hair - i could literally have dreadlocks in a few days - and it's the only thing that works on my hair, wet or dry it's brilliant and doesn't break my hair at all.So I bought this lovely flamingo / green palm one for my sister as a gift and she LOVED it (and now will stop taking and using my one!!!)Quality of picture was much better than advertised image - looks a bit grainy regardless of my lovely screen! - its much more vibrant - lovely pink bristles - and looks even nicer than mine so I was a bit reluctant to part with it!!!!recommend tangle teezers to everyone now - and love the compact ones as they come with a cover and can fit in your palm and bag easily - makes my hair super silky and so quickly (no more 20minute +++ hair brushing! now i'm done in around 10! - I've a LOT of hair!) best brush i've ever used and yes they are pricey - but i promise they are so worth it - of course with knots you do have to go over them a few times - above and below the knot to work it loose, but I have less hair loss using this brush too - not losing clumps of knots, just usual hair fall. also bristles are much softer and more flexible - aka less painful and works through knots well - unlike the imitation tangle teezers (which have gotten caught in my hair previously! )Brilliant on long / knotty hair; lovely designs; fashionable and functional; wet / dry use; easier to keep clean than other brushes; quicker brushing time; less knots; less painful; well worth the extra cash for the quality!Wish I found them years ago!!!

cute but pricey for what it is tbh

I've been using these hair brushes for years - it's the only one I can use on my hair. I have wavy/curly hair which I can only brush when wet otherwise it goes frizzy. Normal hairbrushes always felt like they were pulling out my hair when I used them, but these glide right through. I've been using them for about 15 years now and have only had to replace them twice - not because they were broken but because of the build up of hair products I could no longer clean. If you have tangled, curly or wavy hair, this is the best hair brush you could possibly buy!

Great to keep in handbag or travelling.

We have not had a free brush, we paid for it... and we LOVE it !!!From her being tiny until a couple of weeks ago my daughter (age 8) and i have had HUGE rows about hair-brushing. Conditioners, frizz-tamers, afro combs - nothing made any difference. Hair-brushing was a miserable affair of tugging, pulling, crying and shouting - from us both!But not any more.The Tangle Teezer gently picks at knots, and tangles and is almost totally pain-free. no more yelling, no more crying.To use it successfully on dry hair, we have found, you need to do the following:1) Give yourself a reasonable amount of time - it doesn't yank through the tangles but undoes them bit by bit, so you need to take it steady.2) Have a paddle brush handy to smooth things down afterwards - the hair tends to be very floaty and fly-away immediately after brushing.It works brilliantly on wet hair, as long as you have used conditioner.Again, because the bristles are quite soft and it takes a while to undo all the knots you will need a sensible amount of time to do a good job - but it will be worth it!I highly recommend this product to any Mum and daughter (or son) who have battles with flyaway, tangly hair.Daughter says she would give it five-and-a-half stars if she could!

Decidí comprar un tangle teezer por recomendación de un profesional de la peluquería en Inglaterra y la verdad que no podría estar más contenta. Tengo gran cantidad de pelo y bastante ondulado, alisarlo para ir a trabajar a veces se convierte en un reto porque no hay cepillo que desenrede semejante lio...hasta que di con este tangle teezer. Lo puedes usar tanto en mojado como en seco, lo uso yo con el pelo ondulado pero también lo han probado amigas con el pelo liso y fino y todas coincidimos en que es genial. No pega tirones, no rompe el pelo, no se parten las púas,... merece totalmente la pena pagar por él y tenerlo en casa. Desenreda tanto con el pelo húmedo/mojado como con el pelo seco, lo cuál viene genial en verano cuando vas a la playa o la piscina...o simplemente te quieres dejar el pelo secando al natural. Acierto total!

Cute and works great, but kind of hard to hold. I feel like bleached and destroyed hair is actually a bit softer after use.

Ormai uso soltanto spazzole Tangle Teezer perchè sono ottime per districare e sciogliere i nodi dei capelli senza tirarli e per prevenirne la rottura. Ho preso anche la Tangle Teezer Compact Styler perché le dimensioni ridotte la rendono comoda da portare in borsa oppure nello zaino, per cui è perfetta per l'uso quotidiano fuori casa. La custodia protettiva da viaggio è molto utile e comoda per evitare che in borsa si possano danneggiare i denti della spazzola. Infine il design è molto elegante. Prodotto consigliato per la vostra routine di cura dei capelli!

Eu não acreditava o quanto esta escova era realmente indicada e adequada para cabelos finos (o meu é fino por causa das luzes), até provar a de uma amiga. Sensacional, desembaraça sem puxar os fios, sensação desagradável de ver os fios arrebentando com outros modelos. Essa versão é linda e própria para carregar na bolsa. Recomendo
